Nice video and good explainations. One thing most people dont know is loot bee loot gets better based on how many loot bees you've encounted, about every 20 bees you'll start getting better loot from then on, up to 4 tiers.

Nice coverage of the Reaper Generator. It was practically worthless in the original non-Expert pack. Whirlisprigs will spawn for you if you replace some of that massive stone with grass using the pasture seeds you get from sifting. The Ars Golems are gated by completing the ElementalCraft Amethyst shrine. If you do get one it won't work. If you get a budding block of Amethyst from piglin loot then it will not work with the Ritual of Awakening. This is a intended gate to force you to get to Springline automation with ElementalCraft shrines. For Rabbit's feet, note that the Ars desert ritual is in the pack. You can also just use an angel block and the Hexerei broom to build in a natural desert biome. Beware: the Ars Ritual of Summon Animals will also spawn Ars and Alex Mobs, not just rabbits like in vanilla.

Yea I ended up getting rabbits from the original easter egg you get at spawn. Ars golem worked fine with the budding amethysts from the piglins, spawned and works as intended. Also I'll try making a giant grass area for sure

Nice vid. The problem I am having with this pack is the mod integrations are just not polished enough. Most packs rely on AE or RS to trigger crafting. This pack relies on ARS/Occultism and they just are too buggy. Occultism has its operators that can bring items and collect them on demand but they seem to stop working every once in a while. Ars system is too limited. Kind of reminds me of the golems from Thaumcraft that were plagued by pathing issues. The one mod that is often overlooked and could do it all is integrated dynamics but even its inventory system is awful. Also, it is locked behind manasteel and logic circuits unless you want to jump up and down on a squeezer for a few hours or use the slime cube interaction.

You're limited in logistics early and more opens up as you progress but there is not a single stage in the pack where you lack one or more viable logistic tools to get tasks done that you need to get done. No where does the questbook suggest you should use occultism for logistics for just that reason, foliots are particularly bad. IF conveyors, create, ars, into functional storage, id, then laserio and ae.. there is a path with continual options that open up for you. As far as the squeezer goes, automating it is as simple as 2 armor stands on it and a timer, all made from materials available very early.

Personally I love figuring out early game automation with magic mods, rather than the copy paste AE/RS every pack sees, that's a main reason I enjoyed Enigmatica 9 Expert so much recently. I think Ars does a great job for an early game storage system, as well as for automation with wixies/whirlisprigs/drygmys/starbuncles, you can get really creative

Hey hoping someone can help me - I used this reaper generator setup with the starbuncle but the reaper is killing my starbuncle along with the mobs. How did you get it to not kill your lil guy?

It depends on if you have a range upgrade in your reaper generator or not. It shouldn't kill the starbuncle w/o the range upgrade.

@@Mysticlxl Ahh makes sense. I'm further in the pack now and have a storage drawer setup on the mob farm, just taking out the soul powder directly from the drawer. Hey, are you planning on continuing this series? I'm really enjoying the way you utilize mods/blocks I haven't seen before. Mainly the Ars Nouveau stuff (I'm a huge fan of that mod now thanks to you :D)
