In this instrument video, NCPTT Research Associate, Abigail Poe demonstrates the purpose of and how to use the Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) equipment. This process allows us to identify compounds, surface contaminants, and how deeply the contaminants penetrate into the substrate.
