Engi C is actually really good. Hacking to start and one of the most efficient weapons power/shot wise. Ideally you find an extra weapon and switch to a defense drone and you’re pretty golden. Then you’re just looking for cloaking.

How much do you enjoy your job? Hopefully, you love your job! I've been streaming FTL for 5+ years at this point, so I'm pretty far past the point where I play FTL for the enjoyment of it. I still play it because of the challenge, the endless variety, and the fact that it gets me the most views (for some reason). I still appreciate the game for how amazing it is, but I don't really play it for the "fun" anymore, mainly for the challenge.

Not yet, though I've been asked this question a bunch. I'm waiting until it's released before I check it out, most likely. I've played a LOT of FTL clones so Void War is just another one of those until it releases or starts blowing everyone away with how amazing it is (neither of which has happened yet, from what I've heard).

@rand118 some FTL fans say it's really, really good, and i agree, but yeah, it's still in early access and could use more polish here and there. from what i heard though, devs respond to a bunch of feedback and are working hard to polish it.
