You are going to have no problem flying it. You're a great pilot. You're going to wonder why you were scared to begin with. I was scared with my first Turbine which was the SAB Antartica Havok Turbine Jet with high angle Thrust vectoring. It turned out to be so much fun and much easier than I thought. Some advice that has saved me from crashing Turbines is always to use high rates and expo when landing. If you don't use high rates with a turbine jet you will lose it to the ground guaranteed. High rates for landing are a must. Turbines don't have propwash going over the control surfaces which is why you want as much throw as possible when going slow for landing. The throttle delay you will get used to. Practice flame-out drills. Plan ahead your actions if you have a flame out mid-flight and it doesn't automatically restart. Practice flame-out scenarios so it becomes second nature to drop the nose and make your turn approach without second guessing. Other than that it is like flying an EDF. You got this Master Jay! I believe in you! Don't play Leonard Skinner while flying and you will be ok. lol

I love companies offering PNP options, but you still have to check on everything thats preinstalled. Last PNP turbine F16 I assembled had quite a few issues that if not found, could have easily resulted in an accident. Aileron servo mount screws not tightened all the way down (noticed this by pressing on the servo body, could rock the servo back and fourth 3/8"), preinstalled clunk line was able to make it to the front of the tank very easily, tank had a ton of loose fiberglass/resin inside just to name a few. Nothing that wasn't easily remedied but most companies even state that PNP models are not assembled by hobbyists, so its best to double check everything. The quality of that jet at first appears very impressive, especially considering the price tag. Good luck buddy!

I'm really impressed with the color schemes of the Turkish Air Force. They have a 50th anniversary F-4 Phantom that is beyond cool looking.

Great video as it brought back memories. I had a Fly Eagles Jets F-16 1/8th scale, Same Tiger meet color scheme, 14 years ago. Loved the way it looked, hated the way it handled in flight. Don't care much for scale replicas, not much lift on them with those razor thin wings. Good for war.... I'm not at war, nor do I intend to be any time soon.

Do you have to have a certain license to fly turbine jets? I have always wondered that since I see so many people flying them at some of my somewhat local fields. Also, congrats and have a heck of a time flying it. I believe in you Jay!

Dude you are acting like the shell is the majority of the expense. You are going to be in this around 10k by the time you add everything you need to make a flying plane. Also you said the weight of it shows that it is quality... weight is the last thing you want in an RC plane. GTFO of here with your nonsense... did they pay you to make this video and you just aren't telling anybody, getting kickbacks? People like you are the worst.
@danflom1271Ай бұрын
Are you nervous enough to actually read the instructions and not crash on the maiden? That has been a trend for you. I have enjoyed your videos but you seem to be getting lazy and making stupid mistakes. Sorry for the harshness but that's what I see.
