You killed the crew of that one ship, not because the power went down and their suffocated. It was because they lost power along with the ship. The crew were robots or something similar and required power to live.

The power display shows you how much power you would consume activating everything during combat and then second one is how much you consume outside of combat. I believe the last one is the reserve.

Slight correction, the second one seems to be current usage, as I saw it spike up to you combat amount during combat.

The art style seems off. The station is top down, the control panels and equipment is at diagonal angle and the characters are sideview. Also the background are at a much lower resolution.

Btw not to be annoying but "subsequent" is pronounced sub-seh-quint not sub-see-quint. Like sequential, not like sequence.

Faster than light (FTL) is a game where you jump through the universe escaping rebels fleeing to your homebase to defend it in an epic battle. You have to manage resources such as fuel, missiles and health while updating yourself along the way. You should check it out

An old spaceship rougelike game. I always associate it with the map traversal system that's now popular ( think of the slay the spire map)

Its a game that is sorta fun but very addicting. Uses the same part of the brain that slot machines use. You can burn tons of hours in it without realizing it (and still lose lol). I recommend steering away, there is a difference between addicting and fun and people can often lump the two together. FTL is both, but more addicting that fun tbh.

Recommending against FTL because of some sort of addiction risk seems weird. It’s an absolute classic and I’d highly recommend it if you enjoy the genre.

@@alexkaplan1136 it does seem weird i guess! Just one other chip in the bowl. Similar to LoL, for example, me and some other people kept playing the game long after it was fun due to that element. Like. It was addicting, but stopping and saying "wait....am I actually enjoying this?) was pretty helpful to me.
