Binding with a normal binder while swimming is very dangerous. I don't recommend it. It restricts movement and can cause damage to your chest. There are binders on the market that are specifically for use when swimming. They aren't great quality and cost can very, but the risk of hurting yourself or drowning outweighs most of the cons of the binder.

Jayce Montecinos bruh gc2b binders can be worn for swimming. The people who run the company say you can swim in them in the FAQ kind of thing on their site.

I've worn gc2b a couple times for swimming and I've never had any problems with it. Yes it does restrict movement but it does that when dry too.

XigXag gc2b binders are basically swim binders !! just dont put them back on after you take them off when they're wet. those are around $33 though :0

Jock straps help keep packers from floating away lol Also, wearing a binder then a loose tank top works for me. Then again, I can't swim well so I don't go in the water. Wet binders probably aren't the best

I live in south Florida and go swimming, snorkeling, diving, boating, or fishing every week with my water-centered family and what I find works for me is a sport bra or swimming binder under a rash guard or shirt and board shorts. A tip that I don't really see anywhere but is pretty much a must for me is that after you get out of the water, your cloths will be wet and stick to you which shows your curves and the breast that shows even while binding while also making you cold from wind, so if you can't immediately change after going in the water or are going on a boat, bring a jacket and put it on after getting out of the water. This works as a towel and because you were wet is not as hot as you would expect.

I'm a waterpolo player and I struggled with swimming but I have found a couple of things that work for me: - bandaids over chest nips and then a rash shirt/guard - full piece (female) swimsuit compresses the chest and then you can put board shorts and a rash shirt/guard over it (no one sees it and it's more comfortable than binding) - trunks or board shorts both work

Underworks sells binders that you can wear just for swimming. It zips in the back, and works great for me when I wear just a loose swim shirt underneath. It isn't too uncomfortable which is a huge plus. I'm a size 36C and it compresses great and with my speedo loose swim shirt it has me passing. Would highly recommend Underworks swimming binder, it works better then their other binders.

I never would have thought of a rash guard! I've always just wore a binder under a tshirt. It might be different in other places but lots of guys here wear tshirts while swimming here. It's still not comfortable but it works. I can't wait until next summer though! I'm having top surgery (my partner got his this summer, and we only had time off enough for one of us to heal before our summer classes began). I can't wait to just swim without feeling so constricted. xD

I'm on surf team, and I spend most of my time at the beach/ pool. At my house I just go topless and I made my own binder out of a pair of tights. It is easier to swim in and put under a rash guard because it only goes down to the chest.

I wear my packer in the pool. I use a cheap one because the chlorine will eventually kill it. I have packing high activity sports boxerbriefs under my swimshorts. I wear a compression shirt not a binder and while I am in the pool I do water strength training excercise before relaxing and hanging out. No one thinks anything of it. They just figure I'm winding down after a workout, but I also have a strong confidence and I think that makes a difference to how others react to me.

The best combo I've seen is actually a sports bra under a thick rash guard. The binder probably looks better but for comfort sake the sports bra under the rash guard makes your chest pretty flat without squeezing the life out of ya :) Of course I have a smaller chest, I suppose for bigger ones it might not work as well...

Have you tried UnderWorks.. I really like their binders.. There is also a Dutch company called TransVormers which is more expensive but looks good...

since im in swim at school i have the professional swim suit (it compresses well and you can wear other swim wear over it if you arent swiming competivly)

I haven't swam since I was 10 and now being 17 I just went in my binder and a loose rash guard and yes it does stick and show stuff but rash guards dry easy so as long as you don't care what.people think or stay under water as much as possible than your good.

I just got a moister-wick athletic tee and put that over my binder. It's exactly what my bro does too. And then board shorts of course. Works perfectly and was $8 at Walmart.

personally I would have gone to ardenes or sports check & got a sports tank top.... it's made out of the same material as a sports braw.... it's not I promise! the one from ardenes covers my braw so it should cover ur binder.... or just wear t shirts although that feels weird in water so the sports tank top would be better & yes I have used mine as a bathing suit it works great😀 ps looken good dude

For me, I have packing briefs (stitch up the front fly of a pair of boxer briefs and you're set) that I wear under my swim trunks and everything is in place and doesn't look offensive or weird.

I live in england and I have to deal with having PE twice a week, so what I do is I wear a sportsbra that's a size smaller than I need then I wear a t-shirt and I am fine. And I am kind of lucky cos I don't live anywhere near a beach or swimming pool so I haven't had to deal with that yet

Hi Ty. My name is Alee. Heres a little summary about myself. And I'm from a semi small town deep down in the Mexico-Texas border called Edinburg. I am 22 years old and all my life I wanted to be a boy. For numerous reasons but the most important one was to love a woman and for it to be ok with society. I recently, and although it might seem very strange , came across the ftms of KZbin. I thought that only men could transition to be a woman. Now that I know that it can be possible I want to transition myself. As far as Ivan remember I've felt like a boy. When I went to high school I came out as a lesbian because it was very known around and accepted among my friends and acquaintances. So far I've had an ok life. But recently I've come across thoughts of being a mother. Yeah, it's crazy huh? Idk I feel like I want to have someone of my own before I start my transition. I don't, WHATSOEVER, want to have sex with a man but I do want a baby. Do you have any thoughts or maybe words of wisdom for me? I am completely serious about this issue and idk why I have this urge to talk about it with someone. But I feel like none of my friends would understand. Do you think you can help me? I can tell yore a very open minded and smart man. And I would really appreciate someone who is transitioning to give me some feedback on these thoughts.

That's actually a super normal biological response to getting over puberty. A maternal instinct is triggered that causes the want for motherhood so it's really not weird at all! It doesn't make your being trans any less valid. I think that if you want to parent a biological child, you should do it! And then transition. If that's what you think would be the best for you or make you the happiest :)
