Bro you’re confusing greed with trust in your edge. Some of your trades are busts bc you move to BE too soon or close too early bc of fear. There’s a lot of psychology work needed to be done. Just being honest. Long term, this is not how a trader should be approaching the markets.

@Siegefya

The last 2 had nothing to do with moving his stop to BE early, it had to do with his entries...most of these trades in general he got in too early but the last 2 show it well. Got in too early didn't let price break the EMA like he said he was looking for, then asses if the long thesis is still strong, Ie see if it continues down and away from the EMA or breaks back above, continuing down would mean price most likely pivoted, coming back above means his bull thesis is still strong and it was just a heavy retracement...instead he got in early, and drawled down too heavily and stopped out...he repeated this mistake the next trade, which I think he didn't take long enough to process what was going on before entering again. Another thing...he's trading off the 1 min but also using the 5, I don't think he's paying enough attention to price structure on the 5. The pattern that formed on ES that day is a pattern I we seen a lot this week....market will push down and maybe even double bottom, then bulls will take over until lunch..that happened a couple times this week as on the long time frames it's looking like we are getting a market reversal. At any rate, his problem was mostly his entries. But yeah, there should be a method to moving stop to break even and/or following your runner....and not based on candle structure, but rather points, or how much you're up...like, being up at least 5 points on the ES then moving it to break even..if it keeps pushing you trail it by 5 points. I don't think he does that but could be wrong, but it seems from the videos he moves it to break even by feel. Which can work as well, but I don't do that. Once I have a certain amount of points green, then I start moving my stop up. on ES I want at least 5-10 points before I move that stop, on NQ...it's different because NQ moves like a crackhead...I want to see 10 points or more before I move to break even.

@@zabrakhan5178 100%. I’m not sure if he has data on his edge over a long period of time or over a sample of trades but apart from his edge, his act on emotion is not good. Imo he needs to either refine/change his edge or lower his risk at the bare minimum

It’s a mental thing brother. The first challenge is always the easiest, once you get to the 2nd phase its harder to pass because mentally you tell yourself you’re almost there. Sometimes we go away from what originally got us to that point just to pass the 2nd phase as quickly as possible. Go back to your earlier videos and look back at what worked. You got this bro!

You seem to have more success when price does these two things: 1. Price touches the ema first. 2. Your entry candle breaks the high of the previous candle, this seems like the optimal entry point.

I just started watching this series today and love the transparency, you shown yourself you can be profitable amd patient by having 7 trades in a week 60%+ win rate amd good profits. Hone in on that, back test like crazy. And think like this. Even if your scalping you have a 200k account. Even making 5% a month with a 85% profit split that’s pushing 6 figures all from trading. So be patient and wait for that setup. Set daily/weekly goals. That’s my approach to my 100k. I make $24/hr so I’ll take 5% on that live it’s way more then what I make working my life away in less the time lol may not meet the funded requirements but waiting for the type A+-B trade will get you right

Really appreciate the transparency of this vid! Great stuff! I never use ema's and it was really interesting watching you trade with them. I know everyone has their two cents here, but market structure, risk to reward, and patience would have stopped me taking some of your trades. That section of trading from 8-10 min... The highs were never broken, so in my opinion no reason to long. Some of you entries based on that structure made for unnecessary losses.

I think, instead of using the 5min on the left. Use DXY. Us indexs does the opposite of DXY. Then you can tell if you will be in an up trend or down just from that alone.. also helps with being confident and help u stay in your trades... more likely if the dollar goes up index goes down

The problem with trading emea pullback is you have to guesstimate where the optimal point is for entry. You might be better off using the emea as directional guidance and using a different entry method. You want to be getting in on the move and not guessing if the pullback has been sufficient.

I think you should use more than price action. Look for levels of support and resistance from the previous day or a bigger time frame. Wait for a high quality set up, instead if getting chopped up. Also, when you get a great entry, trail your stop loss and push your TP up. Plenty of time you caught a big move but it went against you because you moved it up to BE instead of in profit

Stop orders have proven useful for me. So instead of worrying about having perfect timing you can just ride the momentum since scalping is heavily based on momentum anyway. I also don’t really believe in giving money back to the market when in profit being a scalper myself. Take profits are just areas not guaranteed but momentum and candle rejection wicks are real.

Good job man, you should start trusting yourself a bit more. You often exit profitable trades because you think you know where price is going. but its impossible to predict that on a trade by trade basis but you dont have to know this to be profitable, also have you tried higher timeframes? the 1hr and 4hr aren't sexy but they helped me pass. the engulfing candle, also helped me alot. along with trading in the zone audiobook by Mark Douglas. but again good job man, you will get there, I can tell by your emotional self control.

Hey dude these episodes have been super entertaining and informative! Do you have the ability to trade smaller positions on that platform? I feel like a smaller position would allow you to spread your SL/TP out a little further. It seems like the Algo's know exactly where your SL is and price bounces in your favor after taking you out. I'm new to trading and trade the 1 min as well but noticed the 2 min chart EMA provides better levels than the 1 min depending on the day. Referencing the 1 min. 2 min. and the 5 min. 40 EMA and 200 MA before entering a trade has been a game changer for me personally. Anyways good luck on the challenge!

Secondly I think setting stop loss based only on 1% is probably not so good. It's one of the mistakes I made in the beginning of my trading journey. It's very brave of you to post your results online. Hopefully it will help you identifying your biggest mistakes (both in terms of mindset/psychology and strategy). 90% of the negative comments here are unfortunately correct. It's hard to accept but sometimes we get so stuck into our own bubble that we cannot accept and see clearly your own weaknesses. I recommend you to read the book Trading In The Zone by Mark Douglas, I believe it will help you massively. From an outside eye, you make some obvious "beginners" mistakes : - scalping the 1min is EXTREMELY difficult and takes A LOT of experience & skills which I do not believe you have acquired yet. - your lot size is ALWAYS the same??? your risk should be pre determined depending on your SL placement. Risk management is the most important skill. - SL placement : come on... at least give yourself a chance man, your SL should always be above or below the last swing. Your SL's are way TOO TIGHT... just look at the amount of trades you took, got stopped at just for the price to then go in your direction..... This is what messes up with your brain the most. Put your SL in the safest place possible - we all know the price can create deep pullbacks. - Buying the top & Selling the bottom - you do not react to the price action : you anticipate the moves. Wait for your 1min candle to close. You would avoid yourself getting in on the fake breakouts. These are basics mistakes easy to correct. I wish you the best of luck in your trading - do not give up!

You should learn how to trade with strictly price action no indicators. Not saying moving averages don’t work by any means but if you can learn to trade with just reading candles and market structure ,moving averages are really just extra confluence but not needed. Have you though about just shooting for 1:1? Edit- probability wise when in drawdown it’s quicker to get out of it using a 1:1 your demanding less from the market and from what I’ve seen it’s rare that price immediate hits your stop also, risk is dynamic, adding to a position isn’t ideal bro enter on one place. Edit edit - cut your risk in half focus 2-3 weeks on getting your account up, then the last 4-3 weeks ok getting that 5% target

I'm really rooting for you with each these videos. I'm finding your strategy a little archaic however. Your getting caught in a lot of trades that could be avoided if you had some L2 data visible. I'm suggesting full-blown footprint charts but I really think you'd benefit from changing your sma to a vwap and have cumulative delta visible in a subwindow. Aside from that, consider also changing your 1-min chart for a range chart. When I'm trading these types of futura I always have in mind: how could the whales be screwing over us retail traders here? I.e. most of the time you got your SL hit was simply a big player going for a liquidity hunt before the price reverses. Best wishes bro

Hi Leo. If I can give an suggestion, you should study about ICT, liquidity grab and some of this stuff. start looking at 15min chart and after price gets a liquidity grab, PDL, PWL, etc and do a break of structure, you wait until pullback in 0,62 retracement of 0,76 retracement to look for a buy, for exemple. With this you should get some good positions with very good RR. Once price pullback in 15min chart to this expect zones, you can look at 5min and 1 min to find good enters. One thing I notice is that a lot of times you are enter a position in 1 min chart, but if you look into 5min chart, the prices is far away from ema.. the better you should looking for in my opinion is to find enters close to the ema in 5min at least Another think that I notice is that you are moving your stop too soon in my opinion. It's better if you enter with a small position and get room for the price do their job, and get a bigger movement... in my opinion. Also in the tradingview have an indicator called "Market Structure Break & Order Block by EmreKb" that could help you. Good luck man!

in my opinion you should more watch what really happens on the 5 min chart, when there is creating a lower high I dont see why you enter a buy on the 1 min. but its your challenge only what I saw from my perspective good luck and hope you catch the turn around

Why move the stop loss to breakeven? Why not move it to a point where you get half your profit instead?

You're looking at the wrong daily chart. Use ES futures continuous contact or any US500, SPX500 CFD contract

Has this strategy ever worked for you? I’ve always found these type of strategies are hard. If you are still struggling I would suggest trying to understand the bare chart a little more. Hopefully it can supercharge that strategy of yours. I appreciate the transparency and hope things work for you soon.

Bro, i like your videos, and i think you would be better off by not moving your sl to break even. You usually get good entries but sometimes the price wants a retest and you end up getting out.

This! From fear, he does not want to lose money but if the price just tests the line, he's immediately out even if he was right in the first place. Markets are volatile and looking to trade on such short trends is pure gambling

The real problem I seen in this update was mostly bad entries. like the last day for instance...you had the right direction, it was a bull day for sure regardless...but you got in too early on those pull backs, you even called out letting it hit the EMA, but you didn't let it hit you got in early, which didn't allow you to draw down enough to stay in the trade. Second trade same thing, but you admitted you got fomo from the previous trade and repeated the mistake. I think futures are great so far, but compared to options...they are harder than options imo. I had some success with SPX options last year after years of trading stock options, so I figured moving to ES futures would be relatively simple...nah, futures trade differently...a lot of crazy wicks seeking stop orders and limit orders. One thing I find interesting about the 2, is options and futures require pretty good timing to be profitable, not just having the direction right...but with futures your timing is even more critical which is weird...seeing as that options literally have a time bomb attached to them. You are pretty much there, just gotta snipe those entries a little better.
