Looks similar to LamboRaul's strategy. Not saying he copied it. It's just a simple supply and demand strategy that clearly works on Gold specifically. His equity curve is fantastic. Definitely going to backtest this method. The 1H time frame looks great for this strategy in my opinion. Sounds like his uses multiple time frames but starts on the 4H.

Some people learn from real time experience, others are capable of going back in time and practising from historical data without putting any of their hard earned money on the line. Personally I'm mostly able to master a strategy from real time experience.

Backtest is a real waste of time. If your operational strategy is based on well-founded technical concepts and market solids, you don't need backtesting. My operational is similar to his, but I do contextualization with other technical concepts like alternating fibonacci targets, POC, wyckoff structures. I never needed to do any backtest

Hi mthobisi Zondo, If I understand your question correctly and feel free to correct me, you ask how we calculate the Max Daily Loss and its relation with the free margin. Well, we are calculating it from your daily equity. This rule can also be called “trader’s daily stop-loss”. According to our rules, this is set as 5% (10% in case of an Aggressive version) from the initial account balance. The rule says that at any moment of the day (CE(S)T - Central European Summer Time), the result of all closed positions in sum with the currently open floating P/Ls (profits/losses) must not hit the determined daily loss limit. The counting formula: Current daily loss = results of closed positions of this day + result of open positions. We do not have any specific trading rules about your free margin. Thank you for your question, and do not hesitate to contact us again.

you trade the top and bottom of the consolidation range then. It's all the same but to different scales. Not everyone needs a "trend" to make money. Ideally a trader is able to trade in all market conditions. Sticking to one pair is mandatory for all professional traders beginning their journey at eg. prop firm. Pairs behave differently, it's almost like juggling with basketball and baseball because you're afraid you won't reach elite with just one sport.
