Matchbox - All 11 German Armor Models 1/76 ( Final Reveal )

Hi. I finished all 11 German Armor models from Matchbox in 1/76. All models are painted with Gunze acrylic and lacquer colors and weathered with oils and pigments.

Nice work. Takes me back to the 70s when I started building tank models. The Jagdpanther was the first model I painted. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

One of the first models I built as a child was that Panzer II. I had no skill and just quickly built it. I had no idea it could be such a beautiful model.

@@FTModelsGreece As a kid in the 70's and 80's it amazes me just how far the hobby of modelling has come with alot of kits having photo etch and the amount of after market resin that's available spare tracks etc but I'll never forget the kits I made as a kid.Its nice to see you cover niche kit's in a scale that's not that common anymore doing a great job with them !

5:05 the panzer lll was one of my first somewhat successful builds I did when I was seven around 1978 😅

Hi and thanks for your comment. Why you become discouraged ? It's not the result that matters but the journey to childhood. With time and effort we all get better. To reach this result it took many years and this was the 3rd time i made the Matchbox models and it continues until now with the remaining 16 models. First time i made these models in late 1970 's and 2nd in mid 1990 's.

Very nice models without the modern overdone weathering... beautiful camouflageshemes. Maybe for further Videos to come you can improve the audio by using a microphone.

Hi Leo. I know about this mistake made by Matchbox but mistakes exist in all models from the range. I was only interested in making the models as authentic as possible as they released without any changes.

They reappear from time to time in Revell Germany boxes. I've obtained the Panzer II, Jagdpanther, Comet and Sherman Firefly that way.
