Wouldn't the drive shafts rotate in the wrong direction, since the gearbox is basically built in backwards now?

I was thinking the same thing, do they have to run the engine the other direction or something and how long does the trans last when you turn it the opposite direction?

Would also lile to know what subaru gearbox. Also this gearbox is normally in front of car now its at the read with engine at the back. Would you not then have wheel rotate in the wrong direction

The gear box is to small for the job. No wonder these gearboxs fail so much. Should be twice the size.

The Subaru trans? They're much stronger than the VW units. You'd have to work hard to break one in a vehicle so much lighter.
