Interesting stuff! It's an FTX Mauler I have, and the plastic drive shafts do look a weak point.

I found out it helps wern turn the wheels when putting on the shaft. it prevents that thing pushing back in driveshaft.

Hi 👋 bought my son and myself a mini v2, i have the grey paso & my lad has the yellow paso. Built a little track for us to play on and we love them, great little crawlers. Can you advise / would you know if the servo can be changed to a better one? Find sometimes it could do with a bit more strength in turning when articulating etc - hope that makes sense we are quite new to this! Thanks

They are a great bit of fun ! I don't think you can go wrong for the money.regarding the servo it runs a 5 wire servo unfortunately most upgraded ones are 3 wire,there is a power upgrade kit for this model that runs a 3wire servo also a different ESC motor and reciever this gives the servo a bit more power from the esc if that makes sense.i do talk about it on one of my other videos I think.enjoy though 👍🏻

question, what is the travelsize of the alu shocks? original shocks have 11mm travel, but i like to give it a it more. i already made a shockmount mod, but i like to have some more

Not really sure tbh it definitely has a bit more plus the preload is adjustable id have to measure for the cost they are worth changing especially if you manage to find some bigger tyres to run on it

@@gaz3359 tires from cr18 fit... rc guy kevin did a review with some 1/24 scale crawlers and fit bigger shoes from cr18 and drive the same parcours second time.... i waiting for a package from asiateees with bigger cr18tires

Depends where abouts you are located,I'd say best bet is banggood limited supply in the UK,us maybe a different matter.there is AliExpress but can't see them listed on there and avoid asiatees as there is steep import duties.hope this helps
