Just got mine last night. I rode it to work this morning on throttle only and it didn't even burn 1 bar on the battery indicator. My shop is 5 miles from my apartment.

Big downside is no folding . But it’s about 200 bucks cheaper than any 30mph bike. (I’ve found 30mph is where you can get up hills with throttle only )

Throttle only? ... it says its a 750watts bike with 1200 peak .. but if it's a 1200 peak it should go 40mph no problem .. but I doubt its 1200watts peak .. I wanna know if a person is sitting in it will it go less than 40km/hr or not

Nicely done, the bike looks solid...for sure folding pegs might be useful but I wonder if the back seat could be easily converted to a shelf for a big basket ...grocery runner would be more useful to many I think :)

They sell baskets on their site...little bigger than what RadPower has. It has an option for a front basket too. Mine j6st came in last night and I rode it to work this morning. (5miles) no complaints whatsoever for what it cost.

Yup,my last bike got stolen 2 weeks ago. It was a heavily modded RadCity with a 2k watt direct drive. The Libra seems to have the same torque as that motor but takes longer to get up to speed.

Thanks Micah, Just upped my sub and 'rang the bell'... I noticed this bike recently and had a good impression. Full suspension, and 400 lb wt capacity, at this price is impressive. My front hyd brakes died when a twig snagged the brake line. I bet mech brakes are tougher... presently not riding after my stand launched me in a left turn and fractured my C-1 vertebrae. Broken C1 = internal decapitation. So, I'll wear the neck brace 10 more weeks... Have fun! Be safe...

Great review man. Curious, have you done a range test at tope speed on it without pedal assist? What type of range do you get from yours? I only get 18 mi from mine but the company is saying that it should be good for a lot more than that.

Make sure the battery pack is UL listed. Suspensions negate some of the motor and pedaling forward momentum, and fat tyres increase rolling resistance. Both combine to reduce range.

well..how often have you considered removing the suspension on your car/motorcycle to increase range/efficiency ? please don't complain about suspension since 90+% of class 3 ebikes don't have rear suspensions and going 28mph on less than perfect bike trails/roads benefits from suspensions. of course it's a hub motor so motor's still going to bounce on bumps/potholes, so if. you wanna be nice to the motor you'll still want to slow down a bit.

@@geemy9675 I ride my Gazelle NL C8: no suspension, 27.5 inch x 2.25 inch tyres, good Selle royalle saddle. 250 watt mid-drive allows motor to utilize 8 gears. Comfortable ride. Regularly go on a hilly 52 mile round trip ride, always have 20 percent of battery left riding mainly on tour setting, turbo on steep hills. Paid $2,500. My friend bought a full suspension fat tyre ebike for $1,500. It usually stays in his garage.

@@scottrichards3587 it's ok if you have smooth trails or you go slow. going 25+ mph over trails with roots that create bumps all across the trail or on standard american roads is not comfortable whatever sear you have especially fully rigid. even with a suspension fork and 2.4 tires (ride1up 700) it's super bumpy ride. 28mph is the restricted speed. for 50cc mopeds/scooters in Europe and no manufacturer will ever think selling one without suspension

Hey Micah nice review. does it feel like the 80Nm of torque are really there ? It's nice that fucare has a presence in the US and gives the parts warranty (only 6 month for the battery). the problem is that as long as bikes use proprietary batteries, overpriced especially when sold separately (here $599), only under warranty for a months, and you never know how long the manufacturer is going to support them, offer replacement batteries etc also when moving long distance, battery shipping is very complicated so most people end up selling their ebikes. batteries should be a commodity, not a liability that could turn your $1-2k ebike into a brick. it's less a problem if you buy from a big manufacturer that ships worldwide and support the bikes for years. I'd like to see smart chargers that can maintain your battery health during winter by keeping them charged at 50%. the only smart charger I've found only offer 80/90/100%

It looks like Fucare may be around for awhile. They got accessories and stuff on their website. The 80nm is there. I got mine last night and rode it 5vmiles to work this morning. Everything is solid for the price.

Don’t understand why they would leave off foot pegs. Passengers need to set their feet somewhere safely, so this makes no sense, especially since they probably don’t cost much.

If u put basket (they sell )on the back, the seat comes off. Pegs not needed in that case.

@@gregoryklein1723 I do understand that the pegs wouldn’t be needed in that case, but if the seat comes INSTALLED w/ the bike, then shouldn’t pegs come as part of that package? If they’d simply left the rear rack as a bare rack, then that implies they aren’t presuming that the customer will be using it for passengers or cargo-it’s completely open to that individual, and no resources are wasted on their end (like a passenger seat that will never get used, since the rider planned on installing a rear basket all along to carry cargo).

I have one of these, it’s great/fast/fun but the handling scares me at times because it feels like it wants to go right on its own. Have to keep a good grip on the handle bars otherwise you might just crash

I put my son on the back so far I haven’t had any issues with pinching but I don’t go at high speeds when he’s back there to create less bounce if you will. It’s pretty smooth, I call my waverunner cause it goes smoothly over bumps almost like you’re gliding

Big mistake, I hope they will send me another LCD screen and then I can keep my hands off the new one. I see no way of getting this one unstuck, I've tried everything. Do you have any help on unplugging the old one. Does the wire just pull apart or is there a trick to it?

There are a lot of cheap parts that don't last long on Fucare bikes you are better off buying spares from other manufacturers you get better quality and cheaper. Tubes, tires, and brake shoes are junk compared with what you can replace them with from other manufacturers.

And the friend was surprised I would order it when she had never suggested she wanted anything but the pedal bike she had. She has now ridden the bike two times and gives it a 10 and says it is very fun. We have some hills in our town that are very challenging to climb on a typical bike. But tonight she went up with the pedal assist and loved it. I was way behind on my standard bike, huffing and puffing. Now she is no longer lagging behind me. This thing is powerful enough that a person could go around town without any pedaling. She likes to get some exercise so on flat ground she hits the red button to turn off pedal assist and only uses the twist throttle when she's in a tough spot. The bike looks good. It is really a very nice bike for the friend. Now for me, when I get an electric bike, I'm twice her size and will be looking for a bigger watt motor and battery. But this one is just wonderful for my friend. I am happy with this purchase.
