Hello 👋 Add oil shale to the Oil Extractor to create Oil Cans. Up to 25 shale can be added to the extractor. One shale yields one oil can

Yep recipe for the Oil Extractor is found in the Placeables section of the Build Menu under Others. GE was confusing it's use with the mineral extractor (the one that digs out stones). If you run the Mineral one in the desert it gets shale. Then use the oil extractor to process the shale into oil, and finally the Distiller to turn the oil into Gas.

Hi GE, I see you walking on the walls...stuck at the gates? I'll repeat myself 😊 place stairs on both sides of the walkway, one block away from the gate and build a bridge over the gate. That way your walkway doesn't stop at the gates

A tip for the mineral extractors in the desert. If you fill the boxes with stacks of 1 oil shale they will only extract oil shale and not fill up with sandstone and rocks too

I believe you have to put the shale in the extractor that make oil, that goes into the distillery that turns oil into fuel

I'm sure you figured it out by now or someone has told you but the oil extractor uses oil shale so you don't have to have it in the desert you could have it wherever you want to. You can extract oil shale directly from the desert. Then you just load the shell in the oil extractor. The oil extractor does need to be connected to power. ***See I knew you would figure it out, lol.***
