I bought it when it came out but just tested yesternight. While it can achieve insane loudness, i fidn it is pretty easy-dangerous to get the mix sounding harsh or apply too much of it. Also when i pushed it it messed with the stereo imaging A LOT as in, i have rarely used a plugin that shifts the imaging to this extend. Did they hide something like a stereoizer in it i wonder?

I've bought it, and have to say, it's already making a big impression. The subtly but glue and musicality is amazing. One of the best production tools I've ever used already.

@FoliaSound yep. Just used it on mastering chain for three tracks and they sound so good. You have to use it subtly but a very powerful plugin.

that demo song is definitely not for me, but that plugin sounds amazing i have a lot of family from eastern Europe so your videos always feel familiar to me, keep up the helpful vids Paul 🙇‍♂️

After demoing it I’ll be buying this one, they really did make a great tool! I put it on the various buses with minimal loud dialed up, mainly using the other components.

Hi Paul after buying Master Plan knowing how good that was I bought FUEL without even testing hours when it came out, as I just knew it would be awesome. I have to say I think this is the most I've seen you excited over a plugin and now you have me all excited also to try it. I have to agree with you as it really makes the track sound so alive. This was a great review/demo of FUEL keep up the good work as your channel is simply fantastic.

Both of their plugins are so good for streamlining production and mixing. Seriously, with just this and Master Plan you can do a lot of heavy lifting on a track, and spend way more time on creating! Great company indeed!

I demoed Fuel and it's just ok, absolutely not a big deal and not necessary. I have no idea why you're making a huge deal out of it. The problem with a lot of plugin demo videos is that people associate a song or audio with the plugin sounding great. Well it's a nice pop country track. It's not the plugin that wrote or produced the track. There's a million plugins or combos of plugins that can do the same thing.

Same here.. I gave it a try and was disappointed. It doesn't sound that good to me and there a many plugins out which can do better. Also with better GUI, don't like these tiny knobs f.e.. Don't wanna say it's bad, just nothing special and better options available. Not my cup of tea.

Woah. This is something a little bit special, been chasing the analog dragon for way too long and then this baby comes along. Amazing! Everything I tried it on benefits from at least one of the tools in this plug. Shame low latency isn't really low latency at >300samples. But I can live with that, will just be doing a lot of track freezing and bounce in place I think.

The mistake that plugins companies (specially start-up ones) make is, they create their second plugin very close to their first one. The conclusion is that those who pay for plugins, will buy Fuel, instead of Master Plan, because it's much cheaper. They never learn.

It's mostly recommended for individual tracks and busses. For mastering, I'd go for Master Plan from same developer - Musik Hack. Greetings!

Your demo sounds a bit too much to me, but the plugin seems pretty high quality like Master Plan. I'm not entirely sure if it beats Kraftur, though! But I can see a world where Fuel as some sort of "rear bus" might result in a super polished sound without being very apparent. Gonna give it a try!

Why not just use the OTT? Or even better the original free multiband compressor in Ableton Live after which the OTT was modeled? It can deliver the same sound without additional expenses.

Sounds much better WITHOUT it. The whole body of the vocals is gone. Also depth. It's a cheap plugin. Don't be fooled guys! I notices the same with Master Plan: - less 3D-ness - less depth Why are people so obsessed with loudness when it sounds WORSE !?
