It does sound great! Sounds so smooth and responsive. Your throttle linkage solution is a great upgrade. I imagine it removes a good amount of slop out of the linkage.

Thanks! It's a good bit more responsive than with the carbs and hopefully it'll continue to get better the more I tune (and with spark control)

Yeah, it’s got red Loctite and will probably get safety wired in the future . So far no issues!

Vent valve covers and oil fill to catch can high in engine compart ment as high as possible then from there to under car. Corvairs leaked because of insufficient crankcase ventilation. Half inch hose barb's.

You did a great job on the throttle cable setup! I now know what cable to buy!! Thanks! One thing you may consider, your hard line from the oil fill to the throttle body needs to be easily taken off and put back on when you throw a belt on a hot day. Looked like you used crimp clamps on it. That looks great, but not user friendly. I am willt65 on corvair center forum, and am also in process of fuel injection. It's a leaning curve for me on the programing, currently trying to get the cold start up to be smooth. Keep up the good work!!

Thank you so much! I did consider that a few things need to be removed in order to change the belt. One of the ends of the hard line going to the oil filler doesn't have a flare on it and can be removed somewhat easily in case that happens, but I should probably put a worm clamp on it just to be sure. The cold start is the biggest hurdle I've got right now with the tuning. I did JUST get the DIS system up and running and it starts much better. But the cold start... I'm glad this is working out for you! It does sound great. I wonder if a guy could use a turbo engine intake crossover in this manner to mount up a throttle body and injectors? Might be able to use a factory turbo air cleaner setup like that.

I think you could absolutely use a turbo crossover to make an intake manifold. Would probably be much easier than what I made.

Thanks Brad. Yes, there was a build up of pressure in the crankcase because the PCV wasn’t opening enough to evacuate the gas.

If it were to get DBW, I would want to keep it as a bottom-pivot throttle pedal and have it look period-appropriate. I tend to like things to look like they belong there (fuel injection not withstanding!)

So far, it seems to be working well. I've thought about putting a catch can after the PCV valve to see how much oil is coming through the system, just for giggles.
