It was light bulb video for me. Where to put the massive box and sort that horrible loom all in one. I'm not going to hide mine in the plenum box as I've got the S3R converter so I'll make some brackets, polish the Bosch unit and see how it goes. Great videos and very down to earth, practical and informative. Brilliant cheers 🍻 👏

Love it. Especially the explanation of injectors using predator.

My favorite video so far! The “Predator” reference was funny and I liked how you put the corrected info overtop your video in a whimsical way. Very informative and easy to follow through for the rest of us who are jealous! FYI: the airbox looks amazing

Interesting stuff and it is very tempting to start on a wiring loom myself.....

Good job Ben credit to you looks really clean. I finished my K100 just before Christmas and now that I’ve ridden it for a while there’s a few things I want to go back and change. The injection loom will most probably be one now that I’ve seen how yours looks like. Bet you can’t wait to get it started 😀.

Thanks buddy, your bike looks great! Yeah starting it is a massive milestone.

I am not 100% sure but is the earth wiring in the injector harness not there for electrical noise suppression? This is called ground shielding. You will likely experiences issues now that you have removed them
@Eight203 жыл бұрын
I agree buddy, but after asking a fair few people that have redone these looms, this has only been seen once before and that was on a k75. Its not something I'm worried about.

Hi Ben .. just a question, where did you put your ECU in the end. As I could see it on your videos or am I just blind..
@Eight203 жыл бұрын
It's in the air box mate. I might move it, but it can stay there for now.

I see you took the vacuum switch out that was mounted on the throttle body,any issues at all ? And then next week I'll bring my bike over and you can work on my wiring harness,right? hahahah
@Eight203 жыл бұрын
I never had the vacuum switch, I think that was only on the first models. I believe it can be deleted but I'm not sure. Haha yeah bring it over I'll chop it up for you
@ADY9544 жыл бұрын
Ben, could you not have passed the injector cables between the base of the throttle bodies or do you think heat from the engine block may have effected performance? Great vid. Cabling looks much better.
@Eight204 жыл бұрын
Hi buddy, unfortunately due the the angle of the injector plug the cable faces that way, you could not use the rubber boots and force the wire under the throttle bodies but you need to keep in mind there is less room under there so the chance of the throttle linkage snagging a wire is greater, you don't want your throttle getting stuck open.

Very nice video as always. I just got a K100 for my own build, but I´m not very sure where to start. The bike has not started in a while but works fine mechanically. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you

Maintenance, there's no point having a pretty bike that doesn't run right or leaks oil. Good luck.
