I've worried about having the electronics in this area since I started my own build. Is this area not susceptible to water entering the electronics when riding in the rain?

I fitted K75 throttle bodies to my 3 cylinder car engine and had to dismantle the entire assembly and make a new frame because the port spacing is different. Although I roughly set up the butterflies using the torch method I used a carb sync tool once they were on the engine. The tool is fitted into each intake in turn and it indicates the individual airflows with the engine idling.

Hey Ben, I am hoping you will still get notifications on your videos many years later. Can you point me in the direction of the 3D printed advancement part you made for the TPS?

Hi. Great vid. I have a k75c which I bought as an abandoned bike that had been sat in someone’s garage since 2008 ( the original tax disc was still on the bike). I had to replace everything that was made of rubber, including the tyres. I went for the Avon Roadrunners, probably some of the best tyres available for this bike. All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧🛠️🏍

I used to have the exact same bike with the same colours, but with braided hoses and an after market end can. An amazing bike which i rode every day all year round through ice, rain, and snow with zero issues. I cannot fault this bike apart from the regulator/rectifier which may go and need replaced, but thats its only issue. The paint finish is outstanding and stands up to years of UK salted roads in the winter. This carbureted version is better than the later FGM Honda CBRs which i regretted buying later and cost me a lot. Such an amazing bike in every way still after riding it for many years. I should have not have ever sold it.

5-10 min if you do it in reverse pumping from the caliber instead. Way easier.

In your diagram the earth wird from the coils goes directly into the plug of the ignition control unit, but here it seems both wired up to the frames earthing points? I’d appreciate some help, thanks a lot!:)

I need support/advise by an expert as you are. I replaced the 3 injectors on my 1991 k75 bike. With some hesitation it starts but revs up only to 3000rpm . No way to go further the 3000 rpm. Any idea about it? Tks a lot from Rome.

can I ask why it appears you have the starter relay wired the opposite way around original - i understand terminal 30 to be connected to battery and 87 to the starter?

This has to be, one of the most stupid videos I've ever seen. Why on Earth, don't you simply calibrate the venturi, throttle body openings, by sliding down a feeler gauge into the aperture(s) and record the openings? For your information, I've owned a K100 since 1990.

Although incredibly expensive ($526 before discounts and tax) for 2 bar end mirrors and 2 bar end turn signals from Motogadget - they are incredibly INCREDIBLY well constructed and quality build. So, will the cheaper stuff work...I'm sure it does but if you can afford them or 'make it happen' as they say...I think they are worth it. My bar end M. Cruise and bar end turn signals total after tax were $414 after discounts so I couldn't say no.

Great vid, thanks. I have a question as your in the UK, I have just got hold of a K1100 LT and plan a full cafe racer, and intend to shorten the frame in the seat area, fitting the hoop that's available thus modifying the frame, did you do this and if so did you have to have the bike reinspected by DVLA? Cheers.

7.23.23. If you hate alternators, you’ll “absolutely” hate a permanent magnet Stator charging system’s ⚠️, like the one Honda put on the four-cylinder Goldwing bikes, that you have to pull the engine in order to change the Stator in the back cover‼️

Nice video but a pity you didnt open and clean the starter that for sure is full of carbon. MAYOR issue with K bikes. If you have problems with your lights blinking , fuel pump pressure problems , injectors ,etc. You know where to go back for cleaning

Tip for removing the filter, don’t use a screw but use a small flathead screwdriver and lift up the copper ring. It will come out with filter fully intact.
