In Nairobi, the proposed increase to the Road Maintenance Levy (RML) from the current KSh18 ($0.14) per litre to KSh25 per litre, will increase the cost of diesel to KSh180.1 per litre from the current KSh173.1. A litre of petrol and kerosene will retail at KSh196.84 and KSh170, respectively.
