This guy looks like the equivalent of "common sense" on grid-locked roads. If you never give an inch in a busy city - blocking junctions etc. ... you make it so that the whole system is locked. So YOU are always stuck, because you locked up the junction that would have got traffic moving. Which makes YOU mad, because it's hardly moving - which makes you block up the next junction, giving up even less of an inch! If EVERYONE adopts this rule - as largely shown in the video: When you see someone needing to pull out at a junction - let one through, then block the rest. That's it - let one through, then block. Repeat after me "I will let one through in front of me, then block". And again "I will let one through in front of me, then block". A whole city does that - then we're moving in a slow, orderly fashion. Eventually reaching our destination with minimal fuss. The alternative is as shown in the video - but without the self-appointed "traffic officer"! [London - are you listening?]
