Best eight minutes I spent on KZbin in a long time. Replaced a surge break actuator on a boat trailer, had less than three inches of exposed line. Sure enough, I messed up the seat on the adapter dealing with the stubby, stiff line. Wound up buying the washer for $11.99 at a local Grainger. It worked perfectly, have nine spares from a box of ten. Still worth every penny.

Hours and hours of frustration and unnecessary expense (and RISK!) and you lead me right to the answer in 5 minutes! On a boat with twin 454's, weeping stainless fuel lines are a HUGE problem! THANK YOU!

Use the seal that is the brake line OD size.
