I’ve calibrated multiple times (even tried multiple settings) and after completion, the gauge jumps to empty. I asked my mechanic to try. Same result. Do I have a faulty unit?

How much current can the "Low Fuel+" supply (or sink)? On the SN34 unit I just bought (1/31/2018), the terminal on the PC board is labeled "RLY+"... so on a low fuel condition, is this just a relay that gets picked and connects the "Low Fuel+" pin to GROUND? How much current can this "Low Fuel" circuit candle? 500ma, 1amp? I am trying to understand if the circuit can switch a 12v incandescent bulb directly, or will I need to use an relay external to the SN34? It would be helpful if you update your instructions to include this information too!! Thanks for your help!

I sent Classic Instruments an email asking what are the electrical parameters for the "Low Fuel+" pin on their SN34. Jake replied and said... "12v output ~150ma".
