Why you didn't test for fuel pressure after installing the new pressure regulator? It would have been better I did the same on my neón, replaced the pressure regulator and still no pressure, no start !

@@RulisGarage The fuel accumulator which is bolted to the frame rail right next to the fuel Pump - regulator - filter, is what maintains fuel pressure to the rail after the engine is shut down and power cut off to the pump. It' this maintained pressure that allows for a ready supply of fuel at start up... I did not see the accumulator addressed in this video.

I got more info out of your five minute video than reading countless page's of other site's. Thanks. Now maybe I'll understand a little better went I ask them why they're gonna cut and install in line fuel filter. Still don't understand why they would need to do that.

Once you said to push the metal tab down and rotate, I got mine out... But the inner O-ring bit freaked me out when it wasn't on the regulator, but a hand twist with a drill bit got it out...i think that was the original, 185k service...lol THANKS!

Asks man ! My Neon wasn't start at all suddenly , I was talking with different " mechanics " but can't figure out what is it. So I try it this ( after I saw your video on recommendations) and was starting like a new car! 👏👌 But funny part is that until I saw your video, I found one wire " cut it " buy some mouses ( I hate mouse ) , so I changed all ( I mean all ) wires on car ( from bumper to bumper) , oil filter, spark plugs , all sensors, lambda sensor, and PCV valve , and still wasn't starting.... So my advice is that who want to repair own car , change all on car and and after that go to KZbin to fi d the actually problem on your car ! At least you wil have one car running like a brand-new one ! 😇👌👏👏😂😊

My FPR is the same exact one as the old one. When I try installing the new one, it'll fit inside the hole fine, but won't turn to the right. I'm not sure what to do! I don't want to break the damn thing by trying to force that clip.

So the issue I'm having is after I put fuel pump on try to poor has into it...its over flowing like it's full. I clean the tank...its empty. Y is it not taking the fuel?

Good video Mr... I changed the rear coil springs and the struts of mi neon, but the wheels were left with positive convergence. And Id like to know If you have any video that show how to set it. Thank you. (Excuse me about my bad english jaja).

My Dodge neon 2005 don't start I saw your video I just removed the fuel pressure regulator and I blew through it ..it has not resistance..does this means is that the problem or I have to replace the whole fuel pump?

I have a 02 neon that i'm still driving. I won't drive it in the winter because they suck in snow. Buy my trailblazer will be my winter driver. That neon is a beast! Ice cold air and 30mpg! Its a runner and I only paid $350.00 for it 8mos ago.

My dogge, i been driving it for months but it kept blowing fuses bout 2-3 month, this morning i wake up wont start at all, just blowing fuse after fuse, i unplug fuel filter power lines from tank ,an still blowing em, i look at my regulater/fuel filter an it has no wires connected to it, im thinkin its something do to with short in wiring, or in the ignition dontknow what to do im not all smart when comes to cars
