Fuel Pressure Sensor Hack! Motion Raceworks Tech Tip Tuesday

Here is a Fuel System Plumbing Hack You'll be glad you watched. We all know AN fittings can be confusing and there are 20 different ways to accomplish the same goal. If you are like me, you get to the end of a plumbing (or wiring) project and realize you forgot something. Then you sit there and argue with yourself how you can fix it the easiest way without spending money or redoing your work. Here's a solution.
These gauge adaptor fittings are an absolute life saver! Whether you're adding a fuel pressure transducer to monitor pressure for your EFI system or electric gauge, wanting to add a mechanical gauge to set pressure because you work on things yourself and can't see your interior gauge, or want to tap into your fuel system for a primer pump or low hp "drive around pump" when running a mechanical system, this is a great solution.
Featuring a female swivel on one end and a male on the other end, these fittings LITERALLY go right between a junction you already have, so as long as you have the extra space, you can easily solve the above issues. They also feature an 1/8" NPT port which is standard among gauges and transducers.

I used gauge adaptor fittings with 2 1/8" NPT ports. Put the gauge in one port and the transducer in the other port.

I noticed you used a Marshall gauge. I'm researching what brands to use and seeing you use that brand might have made my decision easier for me :)

I run my regulator under the front of the intake with a t that has both an analog guage and a pressure transducer. The guage faces the front, so its easy to see.

I’m running a low dollar sensor on the end of my stock ls1 rails. I’m using the gauge adapter to connect to end of rail and my nitrous feed line. I’m having the hardest time getting my term x to read higher then 36 psi. I just upgraded my fuel pump to see if that would help with no success. Would a fuel pressure regulator help me out?
