Shout out to you for linking and showing the damn kit I need with the proper fitting for this car. I don't know why Toyota decided to be jackasses when it came to fuel rail but the HarbirFreifgt basic Fuel pressure test that cost $52 bucks didn't work. Let's not forget about that absolutely pointless stupid ridge you have to finagle. I spent 15 dollars on the Special Tool to do it.. Getting tired of trying to diagnostic this car and its fuel issues with Toyota and its damn crazyness. Good vid.I used your affiliate link to purchase. Appreciate

Ended up being an exhaust leak that was sucking air in and causing false O2 readings.

@@737mechanic Thank you for the reply. Have changed O2 sensors, cleaned mass airflow sensor, sprayed intake with carb cleaner, ....Will have to really check hoses well next. Tired of this light. 🤷♂️

I haven’t checked fuel pressure yet, but the car (2001 Corolla) cranks and doesn’t start, it runs with starter fluid. I confirmed power to the fuel pump. The car had bad gas and ran with bad gas then sat for 2 years with an empty tank, I added fuel and a little bit of seafoam injector cleaner. And she cranks but won’t start unless I have starter fluid. Could it be the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator?? Or could the fuel lines/ fuel rail/ and injectors be clogged with bad gas??? Where should I start? I’m gonna check fuel pressure first but what would you recommend?? Any help would be appreciated!!! I got this car for free from a family member but need to get it running it’s a manual Corolla it’s really cool!! It’s just been sitting for 2-3 years and then was moved across town, then sat for another 2-3 years!! I’m pretty sure it ran with bad gas 2-3 years ago when it was moved!! Thanks for any help!!!

It is definitely a fuel-related issue, the first thing I would do is see what the fuel pressure is, if it doesn't have fuel pressure or low pressure then I would remove the filter and see if it is clogged, if it is good then you know the fuel pump isn't working. If the fuel pump is working and you have a new filter and it still doesn't start take a test light and see if the fuel injectors are pulsing while it cranks. if they are pulsing the injectors are probably clogged.
