Thanks man. I have the bed off of my 2003 ford ranger. Gas was spraying everywhere when I tried to start it. Found one of the connectors was chewed up, probably by a rat. ( The truck was not driven for years ). I was searching online for one of those connectors when I ran across your video. Didn't know how to release the connector. Thanks.

Perfect! What size clip or quick discconnect is that and where can i get it from. The one on my ford ranger fuel pump was dry rotted and it just gave and shattered. Could i use that same line without the clip? I know that its the one that goes to the vapor canister, would it be safe to just use the line without that yellow clip?

Half of the yellow tab busted for me, it clips back on strong and no leaks and my pressure is good so I reckon it'll be fine til I gotta remove it down the road. I considered replacing as I've seen warnings but there's no way that little brittle piece of plastic was holding pressure on anything when it was intact

Back when I filmed this, I searched for those connectors because I thought I was going to have to replace that one. Not only did I not have to, but I could not find them anywhere. I don't remember specifics, but if I'm not mistaken the dealership was the only place was actually able to locate them. But don't hold me to that. You might end up having to visit a junkyard.
