Fuel tanker swerves off freeway - lands down embankment. First, the driver here was FINE. He actually is a fan of my channel and mentioned he was watching the last tanker job I posted a couple months back! Always happy to see these drivers well and in good spirits.
This job was called in by Omar at Titan Tow, and when it originally came in the log said it was overturned and on top of a truck. Neither of those were true, but we still made very very short work of this job. Without having to move the trucks once, we were able to winch and lift the entire unit up to the freeway and set it directly onto the underlift to tow out.
I always love doing jobs in this fashion, mainly because I pride myself in being able to work with minimal lane closures and as fast, yet safe, as possible. Side winching in this fashion was the most logical choice for not only the reasons I stated above (speed and safety) but because we didn't want to risk the passenger side of the semi being destroyed from rubbing up against the tree if it was winched forward.
Also, I finally hit 100,000 subscribers during the middle of this job. How fitting! Love all you guys (even the trolls lol) and looking forward to making even better videos for you all to enjoy. Thanks again for watching!

You avoid the accident by paying attention to the road conditions, and surrounding traffic. Total focus, with no distractions while driving. Running off the road to avoid an accident, is not an option.

@@msnpassjan2004 The consequences a driver faces for not paying attention. Insurance companies are forcing carriers to go with the "two way camera's" no distracted driving. There's another advantage to having these camera's. When road conditions are too bad to continue driving in bad weather, they can review what your dealing with before you stopped driving.

2:15 in the background. But honestly the first thing that comes to my mind when I see a truck end up like that is that the driver fell asleep or was otherwise distracted. I see trucks swerve around for no reason way too often. Such behavior just has to end in a ditch every once in a while.

I really enjoyed the interaction between you and the driver of the smaller tow truck. That is how you work with people who are unsure of what to, explain what to do, encourage them and be patient. So many others would have been yelling at him to get out of the way, but you saw the value that he could add to the operation. 100K subscribers congrats and a couple of hours later and it is 101K.
