I'm just going to cling desperately to the fact that they signed with a new label. You don't just do that and dissolve, right? That's like taking the family dog to the pound when it starts getting old, so that you don't have to watch it die at home. Fingers crossed, this is just a sign of true change for them as a band and acceptance that they can't continue to progress if they've got one foot stuck in their past. Maybe we're just saying goodbye to the OLD All Time Low? That would make sense considering how much more pop punk this song in particular is in comparison to a lot of what they've put out in the last few years. It's okay for a group to evolve and it's nice when a group is self-aware in doing so.

And I feel that too and it scares me to death but honestly, I think it's more goodbye to their old selves, they have said it's an album coming to terms with things and maybe this is them coming to terms with the fact they're different than the people they were when they first started. I grew up listening to them FOB, Panic! and the like but it's hard to feel like they're even the same now. I get bands change but I feel like ATL remembers it's roots. I was pretty bummed after listening to young and menace because it's more edm/pop than anything else. It almost feels like ATL is... The last young renegade.

Okay recency bias and over reactionary but this is probably my favorite song they've had since maybe Don't Panic and possibly even back to Nothing Personal. The energy, lyrics, and musicianship all show up in stars here. I've liked every song they've put out so far from LYR but this has exceeded all of that. The video is incredible too, paying homage to all the places that helped them get their starts and the stories behind them are so beautiful and puts into perspective the journey the boys have been on from playing to uninterested audiences in flunky bars to captivating people worldwide in amphitheaters. Super hyped for this record now

Hannah Slyker they will still preform the old stuff. As life goes on music genres change. Or sometimes the artist feel like they should change their style. They are all almost 30. Sadly, they aren't in their early 20's anymore. Maybe they wanted to change it a bit. Trust me, I will miss old All Time Low too. But we will always have their old music and stuff. Who knows maybe on the album there is a song that sounds like old All Time Low.

Imagine you just happened to be out in town and you spot a rose, out of the corner of your eye, lying in an alley way so you go and pick it up as it is in perfect condition. You continue your wander and pick up enough roses to make a bunch. Realising this you make your way to the memorial that was set up a few weeks ago for your loved one. You place down the roses and take a seat yourself before you start talking to them about all the bands you used to listen to and how you're so greatful they introduced you to them, particularly All time low, before tears rolling down your face. The wander takes you home so you go onto youtube and see a new video out called Nice2KnoU. You click on it watch as a sad smile grows on your face. Your friend had always wanted a momentum from a concert or a signature on a CD. This was way better.

[Verse 1] We always say that we'll keep in touch Nobody does, but it don't matter much One last call at the corner store Nights on ice, if we don't score [Pre-Chorus] One more time for second chances We just wanna do some damage [Chorus] So long, so nice to know ya Nice to know ya I'm sorry to say We can't go back to yesterday This night is far from over Far from over Let's get carried away We can't go back to yesterday [Verse 2] Call out the names that you used to know Some went along and broken stereo Crossfire that you can't ignore I know I'm not around much anymore, anymore [Pre-Chorus] One more time for second chances We just wanna do some damage [Chorus] So long, so nice to know ya Nice to know ya I'm sorry to say We can't go back to yesterday This night is far from over Far from over Let's get carried away We can't go back to yesterday [Bridge] One last time for old time's sake One more bend before we break One more time as if we planned it We just wanna do some damage [Chorus] So long, so nice to know ya Nice to know ya I'm sorry to say We can't go back to yesterday This night is far from over Far from over Let's get carried away We can't go back to yesterday [Outro] One last time for old time's sake One more bend before we break

2:09 Sidebar Tavern; Played To No One In '05. This is almost inconceivable now, All Time Low has become one of the best bands in modern times. They evolve whilst sticking to their roots. They have captured the hearts and minds of millions worldwide, seeing this, its almost hard to believe, but, you must think, that this is one of the events that led to who they are now. 2:50, Ottobar; Played A Million Shows Here R.I.P Tom M. Who is Tom M.? Most likely someone who is important to the bands history.

This was by far my favourite music video but All Time Low I've ever seen. I may have not been a fan for the longest time but I still love this band as much as any of the older fans. It was incredible to see all the places they started and to see where they are now.

Shed a tear when they put roses down on Thames St. I'm so proud to say that All Time Low has been my favorite band since 2009 and still is today. Side note, I hope I'm not the only one who freaked out when I noticed their label is Fueled By Ramen now

I'm so glad they brought out this album this year. It shows how much they've grown from when they started this band and how they're so excited to be who they are now. These songs just remind me of how much I've grown since the beginning of the year and that it's for the better. Even though I've lost a lot of people, it's for the best and, while I had fun with them at the time, it feels good to let them go.

Good to see them somewhat going back to their roots, they always sounded better as a pop punk band anyways, this isn't quite pop punk but it's a lot closer than before. Digging it.

"Before you ask which way to go, remember where you've been." - Alex Gaskarth, 2007 "We can't go back to yesterday." - Alex Gaskarth, 2017 Man, how 10 years has changed him for the worst.
@chloeluvsmusic127 жыл бұрын
Scsigs then why are you listening to them then
@Scsigs7 жыл бұрын
Because I loved their music for the most part. Why else? Even this song isn't too bad, even though I don't like the subtext behind it. I really don't get you fangirls that don't get that you don't HAVE to like absolutely everything from a band & you can be critical of what they do. There's NOTHING wrong with that whatsoever.
@lion521937 жыл бұрын
... The music video is literally showing them going back to the places that shaped them. Besides, remembering and going back has way different meaning, I mean, no matter how much you try to remember all the good things, you can never go back to it. if that makes any sense. :)
@Scsigs7 жыл бұрын
Except that, if you think about it, the sentiments expressed in each are WAY different. Remembering where you've been implies that you're taking the experiences & memories to fuel who you've become & what you're doing. Going back & saying "goodbye" implies that you don't care about your past, so it's not gonna dictate what you do or who you are. If they hated Baltimore, or their upbringings, I could understand, but they've shown that they genuinely love the place & that they've accepted their upbringings, which they've expressed in songs already. I bet if 2007 Alex could see 2017 Alex, he'd be some amount of disgusted with how he's turned out.
@poojapatel95316 жыл бұрын
Like you said 10 years has changed the band, whether you think it’s for the worst is up to you but they can’t go back to when they were 20 something year olds making “young” music. I think its admirable for them still to be experimenting 15 years after they started this band

this makes me so sad, they're visiting their old hometowns and seeing their starting places again. they're revisiting their old sound. i hoped for some solid pop punk on this album, and i got some. but it's like they're saying goodbye to the "old" atl and welcoming a new sound. i'm fine with that. i'm stoked to hear the whole album, all of their new releases have been awesome so far and i know the rest will be too. nice2knou is my favorite new release so far. i haven't been a hustler for even a year but i'm sticking with atl for many years to come. i discovered them way too late. it makes me emotional seeing my boys growing older. long live atl
