@@vespine1749 Things will always happen, where do i get my $100 dollars? See, that's stupid. Don't make life about money if it's not about money. i know life is love, and to love is to live. i will not be your enemy, but it is your choice if you want to be my friend. Of course you can be my friend, you don't even need to ask my permission. Though experience has taught me, i am hard to be friends with. i will always care about the well being of others, that is what someone who truly loves does. Happy Sunday to all of us, even you and me three.

Ytboi Western Yes, the sudden spike in vocal editing towards the end of the song was a very interesting creative choice, almost as if reminding us that despite the less-then-contemporary instrumentals and content of the music video, this song was nevertheless made in modern times. Listening to it was strange at first, but it grew on me on repeated listens. Fun. is truly a very interesting band, in a very good way.

Even the 1980's had a higher general message value in their songs than what we get today.

yeah, no music today compares to music of the 00s ... this album was one of the last great albums in the sort of passion, emotion based pop-rock stuff that was super popular in the early to mid 00s (this album dropped in 2012, I believe)... I struggle to find music I connect with nowadays, and it sucks.. I know it still exists. it's just that you really have to hunt for it. it's not in the mainstream... this entire album is really great though... and they were amazing live on new years eve in new orleans several years back. such a memory standing out in the rain watching them perform.

6 of us from my choir were chosen to sing this in a competition years ago. They chose us cause apparently we had ‘powerful’ voices to match the high energy of the song. And still to this day, it’s one of my favourite songs I’ve ever performed and gives me such nostalgia to happier times. Oh and we won the competition :)

So awesome. I remember performing so many times as just another voice in the choir, but still feeling the power and energy rolling like a wave through the group as we sang together... SuperLemonadeGamer We Are Young isn't totally all about getting plastered and partying. But a part of what you said is true because the song is kinda inspired from the lead vocalist's worst drinking experience.

I remember my grandad playing this song when we were driving home late at night, when I was terrified of my homelife. he'd sing along and make me forget it all, even if it was just for the short ten minute drive. It was his favourite song that wasn't made in like...the 60's, he's never liked modern music. I reminded him of this song's existence the day he rang the cancer bell, I'll love this for all *eternity*
