This choir is one of the best in the world. All these smiling young faces, shining and full of hope, black, white, blonde, dark, men, women singing with one voice in harmony. Wearing necklaces that speak of unity in plurality. The fact that you could bring down the walls of Apartheid, exist peacefully, and produce joyous songs, brings tears to me every time. I love you guys! What a great world this would be if everyone followed this example, sang together and smiled. You are beautiful, every one of you. Your conductor and musical director and orchestra musicians are fine people. The songs are excellent and so well executed. Live forever, choir of Stellenbosch! You are magnificent. I wonder what animals would think if they heard a large choir of synchronized humans. Everyone’s voices twining together in harmony, the pure strength of it rumbling in your chest. Would they think they heard something unnatural? Eerie? Beautiful? Angelic even? Would they be hypnotized? Would they be scared? I’ve seen videos of animals listening to instruments. I wonder…

I've sung in some choirs, but the finish, precision, balance, accuracy (eg timing), detail - incredible. (Oh, come on) No, when I see stars, when I see stars, that's all they are When I hear songs, they sound like a swan So come on, oh, come on, oh, come on Oh, come on [Verse 2] Well, that is it, guys, that is all (Oh-woah, oh-ooh-woah-oh) Five minutes in, and I'm bored again (Oh-ooh-woah-oh, oh-oh) Ten years of this, I'm not sure if anybody understands This one is not for the folks at home (Oh-woah, oh-ooh-woah-oh) Sorry to leave, Mom, I had to go (Oh-ooh-woah-oh, oh-oh) Who the fuck wants to die alone All dried up in the desert sun? [Bridge] My heart is breaking for my sister And the con that she called "love" And then I look into my nephew's eyes Man, you wouldn't believe The most amazing things That can come from Some terrible nights [Refrain] Oh-woah, oh-ooh-woah-oh Oh-ooh-woah-oh, oh-oh Oh-woah, oh-ooh-woah-oh Oh-ooh-woah-oh, oh-oh [Outro] The other night, you wouldn't believe The dream I just had about you and me I'd called you up, but we both agreed It's for the best you didn't listen It's for the best we get our distance, oh For the best, you didn't listen It's for the best we get our distance, oh
