How much does the food weigh compared to everything else ? What kinds of drinks does pip have ?

It's hard to give you a concrete answer to this question as the food weight will depend on many factors such as the length of the race, where she is racing etc but we are mindful of not sending more than necessary. Pip likes to drink tea!

What sort of packaging is used for your meals and snacks? Is it biodegradable (by sea water??) or do you have to keep it for disposal/reuse onshore?

We, as a team, continuously review our activities to reduce our environmental impact and have the IMOCA Team Charter embedded into our campaign. Where practical, we have replaced single-use packaging with reusable or biodegradable solutions. Food packaging that Pip does have on board, is stored and responsibly disposed of post race.
