Hello Rod, possibly come from Spanish word pensioń that can signify boardind house. In old French movie pension was often describing a small bording house too. So do not worry they are not home to lodge old people.

Rod all ur videos are cool but showing people where to stay is also good as yeah, nice to see all the sites and attractions but with these type of videos, the viewer can find the place to get a base to go see all those sites and attractions. I am sure this vid will get a lot of views.

I tend to view these pension houses as motels, often a no frills roadside establishment to rest and recover before proceeding on to the next destination. This one doesn't look too bad Rod.

I guess that place would do for a short stay if you were in a pinch. I glanced at the rates and, for what you are getting, it seems way overpriced. P30,000 (plus) a month? Erm, no thanks. Maybe P10,000 tops, considering what you are getting.

I asked Cindy what a pension house was a few years ago. Her explanation was they are inexpensive hotels that allow long stay. In the provinces you'll get workers stay at them for a couple of months.

Good man rod i stay in robes pension house on irlande st not far from the city 700 pesos night great ac very clean that was before covid u should check it out do good monthly deal to they do real good food there too love youre videos greetings from emerald isles😢

first thing I check is the cleanliness , also check if they have ANTS. and dim lights are a no no... pacific pension used to be my go to in Jones Avenue its in the back of the billiards house. its still operating ? decent and good location

we used to stay at the Holiday Plaza but found problems with there Air con not cold and toilet not flussing stuff like that i booked a room with single beds they saved a room with a queen size bed always there was something very noisy if you get a room up from the dinning room very loud music

There was a bar w music and many ladies right down that alley on the main road Haha long time ago

They told me they had wifi Hank, but always best to confirm when booking. I have had the experience of it not working at times in a couple of places.
