You're right! You should never lose hope, especially right now. With many developers nowadays re-making and remastering their games (either to hype up their new title of the same series or to test the waters), more and more old games are being re-made. Over the past three years, there's a few games i love i never expecting getting a remake or a port getting one. Some even got sequel in the span of more than 10yrs. Either older game from more than 20yrs ago up to the recent on from only a bit over 10years ago (depend on the devs/publishers), you can always hope for (at least) a port, or a remake, or even sequel. we never know! Just gotta be patient.

The difficulty spikes got me in the first one, so it's unfortunate to see them return here but now that I know about them I might replay the first one with more strategy.

In the first game there is only one boss that is a slight dificulty spike. Atleast thats how it was fore me. But I also always go fore the dangerious routes which might actully be the easiest way to play this game. Yeah you have to beat some tough mobs but the exp and upgrade matirials you get from that make the game so much easier. Thats probably why almost none of the bosses ever really gave me trouble. It was the same with the second game.

If you go down the Dangerous routes as often as possible instead of the Normal or Safe ones the game actually gets significantly easier very quickly due to the XP and materials it provides. Also focus really hard on upgrading the Tank itself! the tank's weapon and armor stats are the most important thing in the game, and now that Gasco has a functioning economy in 2 it's much easier to get what you need.

The art and the tanks looks even more amazing than in the first, I'm still going through thw first, but now I'm hyped to play the second hearing that the story only gets better and more interesting. The battle system is simple but there are some really tricky battles. Thanks for the review.

It's amazing that Little Tail Bronx is still going. The only game I've played is the first in the series, Tail Concerto. That came out in the 90s.

I loved the first one, the art style, the story and characters, the gameplay were amazing, going through my third playthrough to get all the link, this one has gotten me hooked as well, preordered before zelda and i dont regret it

I liked the first game very much. I have some issues like the pace, with the dungeons being so unecessary and some other little things that were only fixed close to the release of this sequel. Other issue I had with the first one was the story that was very heavy in the beginning but after that there was no more momments thatmathced it. Actually the real end is very happy. I'm also not a big fan of hardcore rpgs and I tried tro only make the hard paths what made me kinda struggle some times. I'm very interested in the sequel but I think I will wait. Also I think its kinda expensive. I also think that is very sad how overlooked the first one was. Because its basically an indie game made by a big studio it wasn't covered by indie game channels or the tripple A ones. Kinda the same fate of Shinsekai from Capcom. Another amazing game that suffered from the same destiny. I hope this changes. But I don't think it will.

Dungeons did feel super unnecessary in 1, but in 2 they're much better designed and the Treasures you can sell for money makes you actually want to go in them.

The first game is my favorite Videogame. I played through it 13 times. Overall I am not as over the moon when it comes to the second game but god do I love these characters. Easily my favorites JRPG party.

Gents, I know this is an unrelated comment, but I just went to the US e shop and For a Vast Future was only $1.99. In your video a couple of days ago you guys said it was £13, but now it’s only $2. The sale ends on 6/01/23 (or the first of June, I know we do I backwards in America). I WANT to like those Nyxi controllers, 'cause they look cool. BUT. None (AFAIK) have amiibo/NFC support. Thus, they aren't so much as a "Switch controller" as a "controller compatible with the Switch." Great review!

It is really a shame that Zelda TOTK overshadowed this game by pure accident. When TOTK's release date was revealed to be just one day apart from Fuga 2's, the game director practically suffered a breakdown. Just look at the difference in coverage over here between these 2 games.

I haven’t played the 1st but am enjoying the 2nd. It does imply some things that happened in the first game, so it’s not too hard to follow. I do want to play the first game later to fill in some gaps. I also watched some of “Fuga: Comedies of Steel” on KZbin prior to learn a little about the characters, but it’s not necessary.

I really recommend to play the first one first. Gameplay wise they are not that different. Its not like Gameplay wise the second game is vastly superior. And story wise its so much better to experience them in order. There is one character where I could see how he developed from the first game to this point. I had a "Oh shit. But looking back this makes so much sense" reaction and you wont getting that if you play the second game first. Itd best to get to know these characters from the begining of the story. I really dont see any reason to play the second game first.

Feel free to disagree but I seriously prefer Radio Woman over Hax. I mean, at least she tried COMFORTING you, unlike Hax who just “Oh I’m just gonna throw all this depressing stuff at you and see if you don’t mentally die”. In chapter 5, after finally recovering from Hanna’s death, my HP dropped below half in the boss fight, so Hax put MEI in the Soul Cannon, and I just kinda… lost the will to play the game.
