I think Customs is a great starter map. *9:08** | Jackets* - Don’t skip them, they offer some of the most valuable keys. *9:22** | Marked Rooms* - Get a key for them, they’re cheap and offer really good loot. *9:57** | Grenades* - There’s different types, M67 takes longer to explode but can be thrown way further. *10:31** | Painkillers* - They’re super important, will ease your pain and allow you to focus / move normally again when breaking limb or getting a concussion etc. *10:49** | Scav Runs* - Always do them as a new player, especially when wanting to learn a new map. *11:17** | Scav Or Scav Player* - A dead scav player has the pouch slot, where as an NPC does not. *11:37** | Scav Types* - There’s the regular plebs, sniper scavs and raiders. Raiders being crazy geared but only found on Labs and Reserve. *12:11** | Splint* - Always carry a splint on you to fix a broken limb. *12:27** | Stashes* - Google the map you’re playing with the word stashes to find the hidden loot spots. *13:03** | Visor* - Can protect you from a headshot. Press ‘N’ to toggle the visor. *13:19** | Day Or Night* - You can choose between day and night mode. Labs has no time, and Factory has set times. *13:51** | Chicken Nuggets* - Be careful of exits, some maps tend to have chickens waiting for you to snatch your loot. *14:12** | Offline Mode* - Is a very good way to practice against bots and learn the maps. *15:05** | Player Count* - You can see how many players you might be facing at the map selection screen. *15:29** | Quests* - They’re a very good way of learning the game, as they take you to certain spots and show you the game features. Use the game wiki page if you need help. *15:57** | Strip Guns* - For extra profit, sell to Therapist > Skier and then Mechanic for maximum profit. *17:08** | Hide The Goods* - If your teammate insured his/hers gear, throw it in their backpack and hide it - to fill your inventory with the goodies from your enemies. *17:24** | Bind Voice* - You can bind a voice command by double tapping ‘Y’ and right clicking a command. *17:44** | Don’t Sprint N’ Nade* - It’ll drop at your feet and send you to space. *18:05** | Check Ammo* - Right click a mag in your inventory, or LALT + T to check the weapon in your hands. *18:29** | Movement Keys* - A quick rundown of different keybinds to move around.

[EDIT]: Use Alt+B to check the firing mode without changing it. 7:17 | Flea Market - Sell sought after gear on the flea market, it brings a huge profit. [EDIT]: Do not ALWAYS use Flea Market, at the beginning you want to push your traders too, so make sure you also selling stuff to traders. My suggestion would be to sell more expensive stuff (15k+) on Flea Market, the Rest sell to traders to push their levels. 8:48 | Starter Map - Personally I’d say stick with one map at a time while you’re learning. I think Customs is a great starter map. [EDIT]: I disagree on that Customs are a great starter map. There is always PVP going on because this map is very linear and you most likely can not avoid bumping into other players. Sure you have to do alot of quests on Customs at the start, but i also would consider Customs as the 3rd hardest map to play. I also could suggest new players to do Scav runs into Offline Raids rotation for a while to learn the maps. 18:29 | Movement Keys - A quick rundown of different keybinds to move around. [EDIT]: you forgot the LAlt+Q and LAlt+E for the quick full body peaks, which sometimes can be kinda usefull because these are a bit faster animations then the usual lean animations. Overall a great Guide for new and even some advanced players. Great Job, Thumbs up!

You actually do want to hit G and drop a grenade while you are sprinting if you are being chased. I discovered it by accident - was being chased through Factory and dropped a nade in the bathroom and it blew up the dude chasing me. ;)

Glasses reduce the amount of blood and rain that is shown on your screen, facecovers do nothing but make it harder to recognize you're a player.

Pro tip.... insure your gear and when you kill someone with good/decent gear, go throw all your insured shit into a bush and take his gear. Trust me, it's op.

When I just started this game, like 5th raid or smth, I found on customs a naked dead body, and close by behind some rubble I found a mega huge backpack full of high-end gear that I sold for over a million rubbles, at a time I thought that it is something like an easter egg or smth so every time I was playing customs I was checking that spot for that cool backpack... later I learned that I probably ruined somebodies insurance fraud attempt :)

Heya, good vid. I do recommend you run with face cover and sunglasses. First, it helps with raising Ragman a bit if you're tight on cash, but another thing, especially if you play USEC is the humble Balaclava hides our giant pink heads that stand out super easily. I've caught people hiding just because the color of their face is so out of place. Sunglasses cover the two big eyeholes and help your vision when it comes to water/blood. Good vid!

Something to think about when considering the player count, is that it doesn't count or factor in scav players. So even if all the PMCs are dead, scav players will still eventually spawn, and are still very much a threat.

Another helpful tip is that money used for Insurance is used Stash > Pouch > Cases in stash. IDK why it's setup this way but if you want to be sure the game doesn't take the money you keep in your pouch to use for paid extracts in game, keep some loose cash in your stash. Also at 18:33 you can use that lean to throw grenades around the corner without exposing yourself.

@@MoJoProfessional You can only do offline raids solo so I'd suggest learning the maps offline and doing raids with friends on your Scav. Which is a random AI you can play as every 20min or so and it just gives you a random loadout. Also the 20min cooldown can be reduced with upgrading your hideout but the cooldown doesn't start till you finish the raid aka die or extract on the Scav.

When doing Scav runs, all AI scavs that aren't boss AI will not shoot at you unless you kill an AI or player scav first. On larger maps this can be isolated between groups as well (killing one group may not aggro another spawn further into the map. When you are new having AI scavs around you as back up is super helpful. Where possible, avoid Scav on Scav violence. Alternating Q and E lean is called the wiggle and usually signifies a player trying to communicate 'friendly', also pressing F1 to mumble a scav phrase can help alert another scav to your presence without them going all itchy trigger finger on you. Other scav players typically don't have anything worth looting but will make taking down a geared PMC much easier with numbers. Trusting another player scav can be tricky, but shooting on sight every time usually just gets an angry scav mob on your arse for the grand prize of a Saiga 9.
