Players need to learn how to play their own tank and also understand the other tanks on your team. I like my Churchill VII. It's a fantastic tank, but my win rate in it is abysmal. The problem is that teammates don't understand how slow it is. They either run too far ahead and dont work with the Churchill's firepower and armor, or they dont support allowing me to get flanked. The worst is when someone calls out "hill" not getting that 1/2 the match will be over by the time you get there. If I am in a med and I have a Church or a Prince on my team, I will often push, but then circle back around for close support and to prevent flanking. Wish more would do that for me. It makes a huge difference.

interestingly enough, those things on your list are perfectly acceptable when driving a LTTB. The full-on LTTB yolo has become to be expected, and there is even a short confusing, awkward, moment if it doesn't.

You are a great teacher for Blitz! I have already learned so much from u. I have looked at tons of videos but u are the first to lay out the fundamentals of each tank as well as mention the importance of nuanced tanks that don't follow the pure tank type. For newer players, starting off, they only have the option of Light tanks, bar one Medium in the French line, the R35. Lights through to Tier 3, bar the 3 Mediums - UK Cruiser III, Japanese Chi-Ni and the French AMX 38 at tier 2, the first TD's they come across are in tier 4. So your video is great for giving players the knowledge of what they should be doing with each tank style when they get further up the lines. Knowing what your tank CAN do, and what it SHOULDN'T do is the main thing to get home to advancing players.

i was expecting more throughout video on this topic, althought it's good enough but it could be misleading on new player. but since you are probably would make another one in future hopefuly it wont give a misconception on new player 1. light tank should be spotter on the beginning of the game, if possible get a bush and do passive spot on first minutes or atleast until all the enemy detected. also use yourself as distraction for enemy or using the distraction to do damage preserve the health point for the late game especially if you are on autoloader 2. medium are probably the most tricky one to play, you can literally cover any class but possibly not excel at anything. my advice is probably go to medium line and ask support for tank destroyer, use yourself as bait and try to get safe shot without getting any damage since you are probably will be important on later game. also medium is very good against light tank, if you find isolated light tank just brawl and face hugh it 3. heavy tank is not always meant as brawler and bully since they have variant on them as well. if you well armored HT, you could do brawl tactic and using your strongest armor as big advantage either on ridge,hull down or side scrapping (ex. russian heavy, german super heavy, america heavy and chinese heavy) if you have mediocore armor, use it as second line support or if you are the only HT on the team, make sure you have hardcover since you probably have good dpm ( ex german heavy and british heavy) if you have meh armor, use it as secondary support and only shot if your enemy distracted or you have chance to clip it in one go. since you are basically a medium with heavy atribute ( ex. america autoloader, french autoloader) 4. TD is also quite tricky although i agree that it should be as back line support, many td can be second and frontline support depend on matchmaking and you vehicle. for well armored with crazy dpm, you can use it for bully medium tank since they would struggle to pen or you would out dpm them. you can even brawl light tank if you have support or platoon ( ex. wz-120-1g,obj263,tortoise ,at15 and su-122-54) if you have big gun and good armor, go on medium line as well and bully them as second line support (ex. obj.268, death star, jageroo) if you are squishy af, just camp on corner and realisticly you want to go to heavy line why? because since they are blind as bat you can keep your camo value even if you are not double bush (ex. borsig,waffle,grille,emil) the most tricky one is probably british turreted td, because the only good thing on them are the gun (your camo is really bad even heavy tank can spot you)

You probably needed to include a warning about some tanks not being as described on the box. As mentioned below the British AT TDs as well as the helsing and most French heavies but there are others. Also a note about auto loaders may be helpful. I totaly agree that it is best to check out tanks on Blitz hanger to get a better understanding about a tank and how to play it>

No mate, I believe every TD has a different role. I play Foch 155, OBJ 268 and 263 at front line or second line. Grille, waffle, 183 I play them as a sniper.

Great video, very clear explanations! Exceptions to the 'Don't frontline in a TD' rule - DO frontline if you're driving an American T95, or a British TD that has a name starting in 'AT'. These vehicles aren't really tank destroyers, they are assault tanks (hence 'AT') - basically, they are heavy tanks without turrets. The T95 has great armour and a huge gun but is very slow, getting caught alone is fatal. The British AT series are all very slow, have good armour, but don't have big guns. Instead, they have small, rapid-fire guns that require non-stop shooting to be truly effective. For non-stop shooting, you need targets that are constantly in view - for that, you need to be up close.

Great video. The only statement I disagree with is that TDs should be camping... No tank should camp in Blitz. TDs need to be behind their teams putting in support fire and moving as necessary to ensure they constantly have shots on the enemy team. Camping: sitting steadfastly in one spot even if targets dry up is just plain wrong.

There are always variants to all lines, the KV-2 with the derpy gun is not a true heavy, because the gun turns it into a TD type tank, albeit with awful accuracy. Its really a support tank

Use the big derp gun, learn where to shoot which tanks and how to accomplish this. I.e. role in from camo Tongan unsuspecting is3 and shoot him for 560 dmg in his back and exit elegantly without hitting rocks, walls and other tanks whilst avoiding getting shot by anything. Splash HE on anything or if u focus u will get 900+ dmg. T49:is a technically difficult tank to drive that demands constant movement, the use of camo, the use of speed a d agility with total awareness if where all tanks are at all times. Ideally ur planning the next three shots and moving from cover to the next target during the long reload.

a lot of the time i see blitz hangar recommending that (usually german) heavies should long range snipe. This is because of their accuracy, pen, velocity, etc. So you shouldn't always trust blitz hangar because it can give wrong tank roles for noobs.

I am in another dilemma man help. I just got my first tier7 tank, i.e, the comet. But I just can't figure out what to do with it. I am constantly losing money and I don't want to sell my kv2😢. I tried the traditional shoot and scoot. Not effective. A single enemy from tier six does more dmg. I can't act like a light because damn the comet can't turn at all. I can't one on one with any tank. I was defeated by the P44 bis(the new Italian tank) in full HP 1 on 1. Like WHHAAAATTT??!!!?!?.... You seem to know your business. Care to give some advice?

Have you got all the top modules, engine/tracks? The Comet is a great light/medium role tank and plays in a similar way to the T5 Leopard - try to spot and relocate and fire from safety or as second line support behind the heavies. The Comet does have good mobility, great gun but thin armour. You need to either be shooting from distance or close to the heavies to use their HP - if you must brawl, then make damn sure you are up close and personal, touching the other tank forcing them to only have your turret to aim at - which is the strongest part.

@@FugitsBlitz OK I tried it. Spotting and then running is a little hard. Reverse is slow but it works! I kept moving, shooting once and then coming from another side to get another hit. Nice video. The problems i have in game are: - When you get to a team without a plan and are all over the place of the map while the other team is pushing one side. - When no one wants to spot and camping within the base just to wait for enemies to come. - The worst of all for me is, when team pushes one side of the map all together then spots an enemy they just stop halfway and dont move until an enemy flanks. Are they just scared to die? These are the problems that really frustrates me sometimes especially if you have 5 streak loss for just one tank and all u want to get that x2 XP.

I disagree, my friend has 11 aces in lttb and he yolo it. ( he knows how to juke the enemies , circle and then leave and come back so they can’t shoot him ),he snipes from the back with his panther or frontlines it and he has 5 aces in it and always does 1k+ damage. I agree with heavies and TDS Only Grille 15 can frontline if they have cover and their team knows how to play. ( a good team is very rare so you’ll rarely find yourself frontlining that thing. ) Thank you for reading my comment, kind stranger.

Exceptions there are, but even in the example you quote he disengages and retreats, to return - there is a difference between yoloing then brawling and playing the light tank the correct way - in the T54 replay I do pretty much that

In that particular game I camped at the start in a good position and waited for them to come to me basically - I then push at the halfway mark, using my HP against the heavies. I was able to basically get rid of those lights/meds that could circle me and the only tanks left were the heavies and TD's, making them easier targets - to do this i saved my HP in order to allow me to make that push

To me, the definition of camping is sitting somewhere and not contributing in a meaningful way. Not an AFKer either who does absolutely nothing. To me a camper is someone who sits too long in the same position and gets no shots off in say 25 seconds or so. If u are sniping and have no viable shots for 25 or 30 seconds than maybe it's time to move to another position. Just a thought.

I cant begin to say how often i see lights like a 1390 trying to frontline brawl with e75s or the tier 9 and 10 paper lights trying to frontline brawl vs mauses, e100s etc i have almost quit playing because people only have the lemming mentality and dont know thier tank roles.

All ways good. I don’t know why reviews bother with this type of vid. Due to the fact that warscaming has either put bots in above tier 4. Or their is far to many well players that should just stay in tier 1. And that includes players with win rate above 55%. And for those with a fake win rate you are a joke. Stay in the lower tiers and keep your mouth shut!!! I’m sorry fugit for posting this on your video it is just a shame that warscaming promotes this type of poor player. I’m just getting sick of players raging and when you look t there stats afterwards they are a 55%plus and a fake win rate. Because there top tanks are tier 3-4. And think there shit doesn’t stink!!! And there is nothing you can do because warscaming are to stupid or useless to do anything about them.

Such a shitty labyrinth maps make only 1 condition: light and medium -rats- tanks should make a gang as big as they can. Heavies with much speed should go where more allies go, TDs should just close and delete that fuckin game. Simple as hell
