I don't even know what to say, man. I've been into fnaf since release day, this song (the original) got me through some very, very hard times chalk full of abuse, bullying, and hopelessness. To see an emotional depiction of this song with all of the lore from start to finish is such a huge contrast to where we began. It feels kind of like watching yourself grow and change, watching to see how many things have shifted since, the opinions, the theories. It really all started to sink in during that first mention of 1987 when the animatronic pictured was Mangle. I was there when Mangle was discovered by theorists to be the bite's perpetrator, when Charlie was discovered to be Henry's daughter, since the name Afton was born! I was there for "golden bonnie" and and the "foxy is a good guy" theory, I was there for the release of "Out With The Old", I was there for the "mike kill all" theory, and now? Now, I'm here for the future, I'm here for fnaftubers, a wild concept I never would've even dreamt of in 2014, I'm here for MatPat's retirement and for John's new music career. It's been an honour to grow and change with you all, and that includes the newer fans of fnaf along the way. This series has been an integral part to my life since I was 11 and I will forever cherish the past and future memories we make here, along the way. Finally, thank you, John, for such a beautiful community you've built. Respectful of others (for the most part lol), kind and compassionate, and beyond intelligent. Couldn't ask for a better section of the community to be part of.

DANG POP OFF JOHN SHEEEE WHERE YOU BEEN HIDING THIS VOICE?? SUCH SKILL
@NekoGamer01123 ай бұрын
Damn John! You did AMAZING! FNAF was a game I grew up with, even still being too scared to play the games myself, but my biggest memory as a kid was listening to FNAF fan songs and singing along to all of them. The fandom started with this song and 10 years later it's still relevant and encapsulates everything perfectly. We watched this game grow from a one off small indie horror game about animatronics to one of the biggest game franchises of all time, a simple last effort at a creation to prove Scott could do more than he felt he could in indie games to years of fans returning for more. It left an impact on so many and bringing it back to the beginnings was just perfect for 10 years. From the countless of streamers playing the game and finding new ways to enjoy it to the music scene blowing up with people creating masterpieces to relay their own feelings about the game and lore to the theorists banding together to solve the difficult story to the artists and storytellers creating engaging and funny and tragic stories to immerse us further in this world to the game devs inspired by this game to create their own games whether in the extended universe or farther beyond to the writers who created stories to hint at lore. This fandom was the reason I started loving video games, the reason I found so many of my favorite games, the reason I discovered indie gaming. It was the reason I found fan songs and animations and theorizing. It was the reason I was able to figure myself out and realize that my dream is to make content and bring smiles and joy and a little bit of cringe to the next generation. It built my life from the boring life I had in elementary school and I'm so thankful that a 9 year old me walked into school one day and was shown this really scary robot game that everyone was going crazy over. And bringing it back to where it all started, going from the upbeat pop song we all would sing out and meme about to a down to earth ballad that showcases where we started and where we all now is cathartic. Even if the franchise fizzles out and all are left are the memories, we can never truly forget about this story or the memories it instilled and you captured that in such a bittersweet way. Here's to 10 years of Five Nights at Freddy's and here's to ten more for a new generation to experience and explore as much as we have growing up. Thank you for such an amazing cover

Imagine playing this song at the start of the movie or the end of the movie probably for the second movie if it’ll be out

Scene when the the hell could he sing like that ??? With the beautiful backing track and animation. Why was everyone cooking so hard on this? Next mystery i want solved is where the hell he got those angelic pipes from ? The voice from the last video and this song is like day and night. Im genuinely floored rn .

Matpat's FNAF ultimate timeline series took four videos to tell the same story that this music video told in 4 minutes. This rocks, John! I can imagine you made The Living Tombstone proud!
