Fuji Anggara - Al-Ikhlas / Sincerity (Perjuangan Series Vol. II)

Fuji's latest Perjuangan Series started when the young Fuji Anggara came across the bust of Tunku Abdul Rahman, created by sculptor Felix De Weldon and like a bolt of lightning, he was inspired to create, and so he did. Translated into struggle, this series serves as an ode to the love for his country and the forefathers, as well as notable individuals who laid the foundation and strove for freedom from the colonial power. Fuji’s Perjuangan Series comprises two paintings which were done earlier this year, each similar but distinct, sharing bold brushstrokes and vivid colours of the Malaysian flag, executed in his flair.
In his latest Perjuangan series new artwork embodies a captivating fusion of heightened artistic flair and bold, dynamic strokes that breathe life into the canvas. Each stroke pulsates with energy, conveying a sense of movement and emotion that engages the viewer on a visceral level.
