I've always wondered how you guys could shoot street photos ; People are watching you thinking you're a freak and very few people can understand what street photography means, the passion and everything behind it. I probably would try it again, but it takes time to get used to it and be natural, not shy and getting out our confort zone... I kinda admire street shooters !

For once, a concise, to the point, great video that show us how the camera performs, not why some people think it sucks because their thumb is to big for the nipple or such BS. It's amazing, and BTW, Francis mon gar t'es bon en tabarnak!!! Nice video, but one question you talk about the recepies in your last video, but where can I find it? Do you have a link for the video of the film simulation recepies?
@fujiguys7 жыл бұрын
The last video where the film simulation is mentioned I believe was in the X-T2 vs X-T20 video. I think the key is that you can, by using the different shadow and highlight saturations and using the menu and different film simulations, is that you can get the exact results you want right in the camera....all of this can be done in camera RAW processing after the image as well.

Great video Francis!!!! Question: lots of auto-focus shots hen in the gimbal? I see some hunting once in a while, but not too bad... How did it work for you guys?
@fujiguys7 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply, we needed to reach out to Francis who was on the road. AF-C was used for the whole shoot, the hunting happened because the camera was set to ''area'' and as he was moving, he got out of the square area and then the AF caught rapidly to what was in the square for that short period of time

Can you tell me how to take a long exposure with an X-Pro2? I only know how to get up to 1-second exposures. Thanks!

HI Mark. If you put the top shutter speed dial to "T", you can then use the front command dial to adjust the shutter speed for exposures as long as 15 minutes.
@markblueticksrbest49285 жыл бұрын
@@fujiguys I have done exactly that, but it only goes up to 1". Any other suggestions?

When using Electronic Shutter, the longest exposure is 1". Try changing to Mechanical Shutter, you should be able to go longer; up to 15 minutes.

If money wasn't a problem, I looking for my first camera to shoot manual, event, travel, and KZbin video, I'm not looking to buy an amateur camera and then upgrade to a pro system, just want to straight get a decent camera that I can learn and then use it as a main camera. I have been deciding between 3 camera, Fuji X100F, Leica TL2 and Leica Q2, which do you think is suitable for me in long term? Q2 haven't announce yet but base on Q1 and rumor it should be no much different than quality n features upgrade. For the TL2, I going to get the 11-23mm wide angle lens first and will not get anymore lens anytime soon I'm a huge Sony fan and I have been thinking to get RX100/RX10/A7 lineup camera(not A6XXX because this series of camera is like half boiled egg) for their innovative and video quality but their camera layout is not suitable for pure manual shooting, so I have to look for other camera first before I get a Sony. So which camera you think I should get? And what video solution you suggest me? I also thinking to get a Sony camcorder, AX55 because it has flip out screen, nigh vision , B.O.S.S., 4K(no s-log), good(should be) 5.1 build in mic and long zoom, would be a great combo with the camera in the peak design sling(which I like and want to get one as well). Or I should get the RX100 V for video? Does Leica Q2/TL2 justify the price? Does the special Leica signature color on their photo is way beyond the Fuji color? Or X100F is good enough?
@fujiguys7 жыл бұрын
With all this wonderful information, we would probably recommend the X-T2....this will pretty much cover everything you are asking for. As we are employees of FUJIFLM, our opinions may be biased.
@NetvoTV7 жыл бұрын
Fuji Guys Channel oh I see, though this is a independent channel, no T2 is not for me, too big, in Fuji camera I only like the X100F, so I need honest opinions, not biased After some research, I will get the next Sony RX10 IV for video, and the next Leica Q2 or Fuji X100F for manual photography, Fuji IQ always like a film and artistry, not like real life color, it's cool but sometime I want real life color, and Leica Q2 might have 4K so higher chance I will get Leica Q2, but if I decided to get 3 camera then I will get all, X100F, RX10 IV, and Leica Q2
@fujiguys7 жыл бұрын
Keep in mind, Fujifilm has several film simulations....you may like using say Astia, and toning down the shadow highlights to get an image you are looking for. I don't think any other brand can give you that flexibility. The X100F is a great choice especially for everyday camera. Quick and amazing AF speeds, awesome Hybrid Viewfinder. Video is stunning in 1080p. Decisions, decisions! Good luck!

i used the XPro2 + 23mm f/2WR for half an hour, a couple of months back. I liked the dimensions/shape/form-factor/fit-finish and it being a Rangefinder-styled camera, but disliked its build, as the heft + solidity was found wanting. I want more metallic feel to the camera, but then, even my Canon 6D feels plasticky + hollow. Yes, of course Fuji is not Leica that costs a fortune. Thanks for the video. Regards.
@chirag47 жыл бұрын
the 23mm f/2 lens isn't sharp at close range, and is good only for shooting subjects that are a little away or at infinity ? . . . perhaps yes, as many have complained on YT and other forums too, or was it just me ?

the 2-in-1 ISO + SS combined Dial is cumbersome, and the worst thing about the XPro2
@eagleeyephoto87157 жыл бұрын
Chirag Parikh That must be your perception, had same feeling until I start to use it daily.Build is more than solid (way above that XT-2 junk, mine broke 3 times in 3 months and I will not buy that junk anymore). I have xpro-1 and since few weeks xpro-2 and the last one is step above both pro-1 and pro-2.Never had any issue with iso dial, and that coming from the ergonomic nightmare called xt-2.Everybody complain about Iso dial amd nobody mentioned XT-2 joystick, and you have to use both hand to play and to change iso on xt. You should try xpro for a couple of day's it is a puur fun to use one, and build does not look solid after 1/2 hour (I was also wrong first time) but now it is safe to say that build is on high standard.
@chirag47 жыл бұрын
thanks eagleeye photo for your comments, i appreciate your views, and would reuse XPro2 to reconfirm my findings, hopefully i will be proven wrong the next time. Also, good to know your negative feedback or rather, the rightful criticism about the XT2, so i can be ready beforehand if the opportunity presents itself and i get a chance to see it. Like you said, it is an Ergonomic nightmare, having ISO dial that needs 2 hands to rotate, and problematic Joystick (tiny lever ? if yes, what's the point of having it in the first place, i have same complaint about joystick on 5D3, others may have no issues with it, but i've never liked it ; thankfully there's none on my 6D), etc. good news for us, money saved on one more camera. What are your initial thoughts on the 6D2, and the upcoming D820 & A7III ?
@eagleeyephoto87157 жыл бұрын
Chirag Parikh They are all great camera's if you are in to Dslr and have already some good glass for it. For me is not the option, (read as not going back to dslr due to my back issues). 6D2 lacking some dynamic range they say , but if you know what you exposing for than is this no issue on any camera also a lot of good and heavy L glass available.It is step up for current 6d users. d850 is good for landscape, portret and product photography , pair with wide angle lenses and you will have a very capapable combo. Sony a7III probably the one and only allround camera from Sony. No size advantage and certainly not compared to something like xpro-2 with Fujichrone lenses (all 3 f2's are daily in my bag). XT -2 is ideal if you used and coming from Nikon, it has more plastic and plastic feeling than xpro's , so for Nikon dslr shooter it might be nice camera but for me due to reliability issues and ergonomics is not quite nice thing.

@alexandrepiche56095 жыл бұрын
It really depends on the day but I have no problem thinking New York or Vancouver are more special. You get to see some f*cked up things in Montreal quite often though but the cityscape isn't that amazing except for the Old Port which is absolutely gorgeous. Chinatown is nice but so small you don't really have anywhere else to look at but the main places there. To be honest there are many other spots to look at besides downtown Montreal.
