So cool, man, congratulations and good luck with your Fuji hike! I went to Fuji (Subashiri Trail) with my girlfriend in August, and we rented a bed at a hut at the top of the mountain but almost ran out of time, lol. Also, last week we went to Mount Misaka, which is very close to Mount Ena. Maybe next week we’ll visit Mount Ena too.

Thanks for watching. How was the experience in a hut on Fuji? I know its not a 5 star hotel but I'm curious if its worth it or just push climbing up and down in one day. I recommend Mount Ena but don't miss the trail entrance like we did lol.

@@BornTheBuilder, Actually, my experience there wasn’t great. I didn’t sleep at all because of a headache and the snoring of others. I kind of regret spending the money, but since it was my first time, I was nervous about not being able to hike Mt. Fuji. lol. If you’re confident you can complete the hike in a day, I’d recommend skipping the hut rental. Next time I think I’ll do the same. PS: Please be careful with your health. Last month, a young Indonesian man died of a heart attack there due to breathing problems (high altitude) and some pre-existing medical conditions. Be aware of your own conditions beforehand. If you or someone in your group is having trouble, please don’t push it. Other than that, I think Mt. Fuji is safe, and it’s practically impossible to get lost there.

That's unfortunate to hear about the man that died. Hiking is quite dangerous now that I think about it. Aside from snakes, Mt. Ena also has bears so have the little bells ringing on your backpack. I'm told it keeps them away. We have some oxygen spray tanks on our checklist so we are good to go for hiking Mount Fuji. The trick with sleeping around people who snore is to sleep before them haha. I hope you enjoy(ed) Mt. Ena. Its very nice and quiet. Let me know how it goes.

I would have turned back after seeing those 2 snakes coming down like the Avengers 🥲
@BornTheBuilderАй бұрын
hahaha. Avengers assemble!! The snakes blocked the path back so we could only go forward at this point. We had already invested about 4 - 5Km into the hike meaning going back would have been a waste. I think one of the benefits of group hiking is you get encouragement to continue from others when you would normally feel like turning back. Additionally, when in a group, the snake has options on who to attack first so you get a chance to run away.
