I know it is boring when you don't know about it and not getting more detail about fishing. But normal SiC guide really enough for me, the main problem for it is easy to break and ruin your fishing day. The new Torzite guide seems to solve the guide break issue, never try though.

The question is, do they have the same surface roughness? Basically I'm asking if you made the SIC a little rougher purposely? I think it's all marketing BS, if you polish both of them with the same surface roughness, for the same weight of the guides, I highly doubt they will have this huge difference.

Telling someone they should "never demonstrate again" shows a lack of moral intelligence akin to a 3 year old not taught to have a thing called "tact". What you are really doing for the world around you is bringing others down instead of building them up. It's really a valuable insight into what your thought process is of yourself that you tear others down out of impatience and a total lack of a vision for making the world a better place: comment by comment; thought by thought; action by action; and self-actualization by self-actualization. I'm happy that someone is demonstrating the difference between these two materials; as, while I'm not raising kids and teaching science, I'm able to follow a passion of building quality fishing rods.
