nice vid 👍🏼 one thing which you are lucky to not have mentioned is the repairability. I’ve had two X100s die on me (one is still half alive and shooting), but often Fujifilm refuses to repair older ones. So anything older than V is screwed when it dies. Sad 😢

Always enjoy your thoughts about cameras. The pleasure a camera will give the user can't be found on the spec sheet, it can only be discovered through use. And it's this indefinable quality which matters so, so much and it's one reason why your camera reviews are always worth watching.

It’s really the leaf shutter that makes the x100 line stand out. The form and the Ovf are great, but the shutter is the real achievement IMO.

as I said in the video, the leaf shutter by itself isn't special, it's the combnation of everything. The the Leica Q and Sony RX1 series also have a leaf shutter, but they don't have the same viewfinder and the same form factor as the X100.

Just decided to check if you uploaded any new videos and yep, last video uploaded 2 hours ago, but I didn't get any notifications because YT decided to unsubscribe me from your channel! 🤯

I'm pretty sure that I also subscribed a few months back... Never got any notifications about your videos, had to dig out your channel again and luckily I found it. It is a little gem imho. See you in 2025.
