Classic YT video in the nature of a camera review by someone who knows almost nothing about what he is describing. That doesn't make him a bad guy or uncommon, particularly on YT,. but it makes this video a disappointing failure. For example, the GS645 is described as being nearly unique as a folder, shooting 120 film in a 645 format. Actually, cameras of this type were quite common until 1960 or so, made by most German and Japanese camera manufacturers. He lists 1/500th as fastest shutter speed to be an negative, however leaf shutters of all brands have almost never been made faster than this, and the few which were a bit faster were inaccurate and unreliable, which is why no one makes 'em. He mounts an after-market light meter on the top of the camera, not mentioning that the camera has a very accurate internal meter coupled to the shutter and aperture rings. Is his broken, or does he just not know? He doesn't mention that there is no way to directly use filters on the camera. Filters are mounting in the lens hood only. The camera can mount only the Fuji hood made for it; no after-market hood can be attached. The hood cost less than $5 new, but now is around $50 used. Like other Fuji roll film cameras of the era, it has no "bulb" function to take long exposures. It has a weird "time" function for that purpose, which most folks find inconvenient to use. Note that for the first 8 minutes, he's shooting video with something which reverses the true image left to right, to the camera is shown backwards. Thereafter, the orientation is correct. Finally, the lens must be back-focused to infinity and the shutter cocked before the lens/bellows can be folded into the camera to close it up. If otherwise forced, you can break linkages internally which are more costly to repair than the camera is worth. For all of its quirks, the GS645 is terrific at its job: a medium format travel camera with an outstanding lens which folds down and becomes pocket-able when not in use
