I absolutely love this lens. My small photo business does a few jobs such as company headshots, yearbooks, sports, etc. this lens usually isn’t the “recommended” lens for such photos, but I find it perfect! I get enough of the uniforms/equipment/ accessories in the shot. This lens, only a few hundred dollars, has made me well over $100k over the life of having this lens. Now that’s a great rate of return if you ask me! I still use the old x-t2 as well. Only upgrades I’ve done is move up from old lights to godox lights.

@@MoTecZA for work it’s 95% my go to lens! When I shoot events though I use the 56 1.2 lens just for the reach. I love the 35, but a surprising outcome I had was when I used my x100v with the tele conversion lens. I used it one year for a year book shoot. Shot a small high school with about 350 kids. The response I got from that combo was incredible. I had never gotten so many “wows” from kids and their parents from a shoot. I saw a big jump in orders on that years shoot than previous years. There’s just something magical about the x100v images. I shy away from using it in high volume shoots like that though because of the lack of backup card. If it had a secondary slot, I’d probably use that camera exclusively. It’s my everyday camera for small jobs and personal.

I think not having "big" lenses can only be an issue with new / amateur photographers, but once you have your portfolio, the clients should be able to see for themselves whether you are good or not despite whatever size your lens is.

@@MoTecZA My girl always prefers my 50-140mm lens because for her big look more promising and professional. 😀

I stopped watching when you talked about step up rings. Lol, you are more worried about being judged but the equipment than by your work. Not what I would expect from a professional. Good luck with you looks.

Size doesn’t matter yet you put so many step up rings and filters so your little tiny lens transforms into a telephoto 😂😂😂
