I wish you with all my heart that you achieve everything you want to achieve!👍 I'm also very interested in the Fuji GFX system and the 45-100 mm lens in particular.😯 I'm currently in the process of getting one Fuji GFX 50 S up for auction! 😋All the best, Matthias👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀

I recently got a copy of that lens. While the image quality is amazing I noticed a slight almost like whistling noise (higher frequencies) when turning the camera on. After a few seconds it seems to become weaker. However, this varies over time as long as the camera remains switched on. It disappears in image playback mode and appears again when switching to photo mode. Deactivating IBIS/AF doesn’t change anything so I’m assuming this has to do with the linear motors somehow. Have you noticed anything similar with your copy of the lense?

I have a copy and the ois only gives sharp images at around 1/70th SS.. believe that though i get good images on my 50s mark 1 (no ibis), the images have the motion ghosting/shake like when you do a second curtain flash sync for artistic work…I’m not sure if it’s the lens ois system or the camera settings i wanted to check with you regarding that if you have similar experience when you don’t use ibis? Thanks

Hmm. I almost never use the IBIS, I'm always on a tripod. But I haven't noticed any issues, it generally performs like a lens/camera without IBIS. I had an issue a long time ago with a Sigma 24-105mm lens, where the IBIS would move around a bit during long exposures, so for my purposes of low light long exposure photography, it just wouldn't work. Sigma told me that since they made the lens for all the different camera systems, it just couldn't be optimized for Nikon. No problems with Fujifilm lenses on GFX yet though.

@@Clint_the_Audio-Photo_Guy i have figured out the cause i guess…when i was going through the settings, in shooting settings there is IS MODE..it was set to type 1 for continuous which may be why i get this shake, when ive switched the to type 2 for shooting only then it works at speeds of 1/10th
