Ever since I've got my first fuji camera (x100v) I haven't used raw files at all, only jpegs, even when I'm shooting for clients. And with the other systems before that, I only shot in raw. But these recipes are something else, really fit the style I'm looking for. Now I spend less time editing and more shooting.

Yeah, the quality of the JPEGs is insane! It is so refreshing to shoot that way. Thanks so much for watching!

I shoot JPEGS for clients now too and editing time is soo much faster!!!! I loveee Fujifilm!

I would still shoot raw if you are a wedding photographer. Just good to have a backup file like maybe a flash did not fire but you can still recover the image in post. Just my two cents.

Great video Zach! Thanks for this series on the film recipes. I always regretted not diving into the film recipes when I had my Fuji cameras but now I can see what they can do through your videos. I’m going to have to order myself one of your postcards one of these days!

Hobbyist (X-T4) here in NorCal Sacramento region, previously from SF Bay Area. We used to spend many a weekend in SB and surrounding area, miss it a lot since moving closer to Tahoe. Appreciate the professionalism of your videos and will do what I can to support you. Keep up the good work!

Nice presentation, Zach. Do you find that clarity adjustments in the camera slow it down? Regards….Wayne
@TheZachMendez3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Wayne! Yes, the clarity adjustments slow down the camera for sure, but I have learned to just go with it and enjoy the slower pace. I think the JPEGs that come out of the camera are worth it. Thanks for watching!

Super nice. I need to try this one. I usually switch between Kodachrome 2, Kodacolor, and Superia 1600 or Reala 100. Would like to see a vid on Portra 400 and/or Ektar 100 though if you get the chance!

It might not be exactly the same depending on the X-T3 settings (I don't remember off hand), but I believe the blog has various versions of this recipe. I'm sure you could achieve a similar look. Thanks for watching!
