Fantastic review. Love the Weird Al vs. Jack Black AF test! I shoot mostly real estate videos right now and need a backup to my X-T3. Since I use a gimbal and Ninja V with no external audio input, this appeals to me as a lighter and smaller option as well as backup for the X-T3. This review helped me decide to sell my X-T2 and pick up an X-T30 for around the same cost, as opposed to the X-H1 with its older codecs identical to the X-T2. Thanks!

It is worth mentioning that this camera does not sensor crop when shooting 4k as opposed to the a6400.
@K.Saniaga3 жыл бұрын
True, also almost nobody mentions the great 1080p quality you get from Fuji. It is better than the a7m3, a6400, canon APSC line up

What is the best for photo and video? A6400 or this xt30?

Looks like a handy little addition to the arsenal. Just wish they would put proper flippy screens in. Are you listening Nikon? Z6 less 2 points

At 8:40 when you talk about recording for 40 plus minutes you are referring to having an external recorder right?
@videomaker5 жыл бұрын
no, recording internal but restarting the camera when it gets to the time limit.

What about length of video recording via HDMI out, and after how much time it would heat up? Could it be used for longer live streaming for example? Thanks! :)
@videomaker5 жыл бұрын
no record limit out the HDMI. We suspect that the overheating we experienced would have not happened if not for having to process and capture inside the camera.

@@videomaker some reported that this happens on some Fujis, so Id like someone to thoroughly test this out.

Nice review. You said there are two( Canon EOS M50 and Sony a6400) cameras we should consider. Which one would you recommend to me as a professional from both of them.
@videomaker5 жыл бұрын
the a6400 is a more pro camera than the M50. (though both are consumer cameras)

I want to use it for photography.

Why everyone`s complaining about that 2.5mm audio jack, if an adapter to 3.5mm costs less than a dollar? We all know, that this 2.5mm jack is stupid, but come on - it can be solved so easily that it shouldn`t be considered as a flaw.
@videomaker4 жыл бұрын
adapters wear out sockets quicker and its an easy adapter to loose or forget. although its not huge, it is a disappointment.

A lot of people buy fuji for photo not video so why should they include a dongle that only a fraction of the users will need.
@videomaker5 жыл бұрын
Fuji knows that video is an important demographic for their cameras.

by letting it cool down and starting it back up again. 40 minute battery life, not continuous.
