I use my x100v only with sooc jpegs and I don’t own a post image edit software and I’m happy with that I think it works ! Especially with the x100v it makes you feel like you use a film camera , I even take 36 pictures of any simulation recipe I want to try like it’s a film roll . So fun

Hey quick question? Why is it when i put my auto iso setting i will put min iso 100 max iso 3200 and min ss 200 and when i go to shoot my iso always stay at 3200 and my shutter speed dropes below 200?
@JayRegular4 жыл бұрын
A variety of factors, depends on how bright it is outside, what aperture you are using and whether you have dynamic range set to auto

Planning to do a major purchase of this camera 😁. Really excited! This this come with the hood that you showed on the video? Or if not can you tell me where I can get that nice hood?
@JayRegular4 жыл бұрын
Hi Ian, congratulations on your decision! What colour are you thinking of getting? The hood does not come with the camera. They are sold by a company called squarehood. I recommend having a look at my accessories video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/boSafGCki99spNU
@ianjoc004 жыл бұрын
JayRegular thanks for the recommendation! Still having a tough time on that too. I have an XT3 silver and I really like the retro color feel. Leaning to the same color but with the black... I feel like it’s so classic and would be different from my XT3. Thanks for linking you accessory vid.
@JayRegular4 жыл бұрын
@@ianjoc00 I can tell you for sure that if you are planning to do street photography, and you don't want people to notice your camera, then the black option is definitely the way to go. The silver stands out too much 🤣

Any advise to solve heating issue under thumb after few minutes working?!!
@JayRegular4 жыл бұрын
I would suggest turning off bluetooth, otherwise if the heating issue is a problem for you, buy a thumb grip so your thumb does not need to rest on the camera body
@mrz13424 жыл бұрын
JayRegular Bluetooth is off! And thumb grip is not covering the heat area! I couldn’t find case to cover it too. But why should be with this annoying issue to try cover it! Do you have same issue with your camera or just ignoring the heat?!
@JayRegular4 жыл бұрын
For me the heat is there but it does not get hot enough to cause discomfort, it is not a problem with the camera, rather a limitation due to the weather sealed body in addition to having a powerful processor in such a compact camera. Firmware updates could optimize certain software features to reduce power usage, but in general don't expect the heat to go away, especially if you are shooting in continuous burst or video mode
@mrz13424 жыл бұрын
JayRegular if it is not engineering problem (that I believe is!) the only way to avoid feeling this annoying heat under thumb, is using a leather case which can cover this area! But unfortunately till now as much as i search I couldn’t find this kind of case :(

@MikeHerbosa3 жыл бұрын
this is just setting your camera when you unbox it video
@JayRegular3 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean, did you want a demonstration of each of the settings I changed to show you how it relates to street photography to make it more obvious? Or have you been setting up your cameras like this all the time and never really realised it works well for street?
