Can you tell me if it’s possible to print a jpeg to an instax printer? I have a 100 V can I print to my Instax SP-2and SP-3. For me if the VI cant print when I travel to different countries. It’s a dealbreaker and I won’t buy the new camera.

Thank you this is immensely useful!!! After I use a custom recipe (e..g C1), I chose "OFF" in custom setting menu and the film simulation automatically jumps back to Provia/Standard , but all the parameters like highlighs, dynamic range are still set to -2/2 instead of zero. Is there a way to solve this?

@@KylerSteele Yeah - moving from the X100F to the VI requires a bit of reorientation due to the lack of function buttons that can be assigned. So, this was really helpful. I've had the F since 2018, so there's a bit of muscle memory to unlearn and some new muscle memory to learn.

Whenever i make a new recipe and go back to C7 to reset changes after making a new recipe, it doesnt let me reset the changes of C7. Its greyed out. Any idea what I'm doing wrong ?? 😢

Thanks for your valuable video. Maybe you can answer a problem I have. If I leave the camera on still normal, it takes a second to do the storing and the writing (storing)...while if I take 3 photos per second, or more, the screen refreshes me immediately.

I think it burst mode some of the settings actually get disables (clarity) so if you turn clarity off in single shot then it wont have the storing on single shot either

@@KylerSteele I did find a fix you can't have everything in manual you must be in either shutter priority or aperture priority or else the exposure scale on your screen functions as a light meter.

It depends on what your top dials are a set to. If you having everything set to auto except the aperture ring then it will be aperture priority

I think Fuji made a mistake by combining settings with style presets. Sometimes I set AF, ISO and quality specifically for the session, and the recipes override these as well. With V it was better thought. Ideal would be to have separate style (just the looks) and settings (e.g. street photography, studio) presets

For a 15 year old high school student do you recommend Microsoft Surface Pro 8 - 32gb - 1TB or Apple Macbook Air M3 - 8gb - 256gb? Yes, maybe for high school Windows OS is better. But you can run most apps on macOS. SP8 also is touch screen and has a kick stand. You can also use SP8 in the bed as the bottom of the keyboard doesn't have any holes / fans. If you drop water on SP8 keyboard and it gets damange you can replace it. It is hard to choose. MacOS is better maybe as it is more robust.

Pity Fujifilm changed the way custom settings work. If you override the settings for temporary use different settings when the camera auto power off it’s all gone. You can enable auto save but then everything will be changed all the time. With the V it was perfect now it’s seems like a bug.
