Great video, thanks. Took a full day & a bit to find an X-S20 body only, found two eventually & bought one. Should be here Monday or Tuesday. The button /Fn settings will be my first priority.Once I set my XT4 up , I've never had to readjust.

Hey there! Hope you can help me with my question as it’s my first fujifilm after years with sony. When I try to film (while panning) macro items such as coffee beans or makeup products, the autofocus tends to go in and out of focus, it’s such a big mess. My settings are AF-C and I’m using the kit lens 15-45mm f3.5. Focus is great when im filming myself and especially while static. But when i hold the camera and film things in front of me while moving it slowly, the focus just moves everywhere and the whole footage ends up blurry. Is there a setting that I’m missing, and which mode should i film on (vlog/video icon/M/auto)? Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Hi, I have the same problem with the same lens kit. Were you able to solve it? I realize when shooting on vlog mode, video and focus feel better than in video mode, I still dont know why😅

Hi I only have expirience with Canon full frame DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Now I want something smaller for travelling so I'm looking at the X - S20. Can I use the front dial for shutter speed and and back dial for aperture? On the back of the Canon R I have 3 buttons customised just for focus options. 1) Continous/single focus 2) Subject detection/point/area 3) Eye detection on/off Is it possible to get simmilar arangement here? Also can you use the touch screen for moving the focus point while using the EVF?

Only electronic shutter can be silent. Mechanical shutter will always make sound. Afaik

Thank you for this video. I'm renting this camera to see if this can become my B camera for gigs. So far it's a fantastic camera! There are weird settings though, like "Flicker Free Shutter Speed" completely threw me off.

great video thank you. is there a way to disable the aperture ring? I use the fuji 16-80 f4, which doesn't have an aperture lock so it's constantly rotating when bumping into things while on the move.

I think if you set the aperture ring on the lens to A, you will have to use one of the command dials to control aperture

does this camera have Clear image zoom function like Sony has or smth like that ? I am using some anamorphot adapter with 23mm , but it goes with vignette . Using Sony a6700 I go for 1.1-1.2 image zoom to avoid it .

Hey great and useful video! We just got our Fuji and were wondering, if it's "normal" that the internal microphone is quiet useless. Everytime we record somethind, there is a kind of background noise which is louder than f.e. the voice. We want to get an external mic, but maybe there is something wrong with the camera.

External mics are always recommended regardless of camera tbh! A lav mic is good for videos like this one if one or two are speaking. A “shotgun” mic works for events and general outdoor.

Greeting all, Just got a new XS-20 ,Using nikon until now, i own a SIGMA 105 mm MACRO Lens wich is pretty amazing. Now i will have to use a adapter F-NIKON to X Fuji mount, i know i wil not be able to use AF thats ok to me. Now my questions - answer would greatly appreciated :-) - This MACRO Lens Sigma has a Stabilizer on it ( with option 1-2 and off ) so wich Stabilizer to use for best result ? BOTH , camera and Lens ? Does anyone have this issue when shooting video in a custom mode? Every time I move the dial to a custom mode, the shutter speed goes to the wrong setting (not the SS i have set). For example, I have C1 set to 4K60p with the shutter speed set to 120. Every time i move to another setting and back to C1, the SS moves to 60 and doesn't let me change it unless I go into the Q menu. The custom mode is set to video and manual. Please help, thanks!

Did you ever figure out this issue? I'm dealing with the same thing and it's driving me insane! Even after talking with Fuji's tech support, they weren't able to replicate the shutter speed issue and basically told me good luck!

My question to you is: How come I cannot record 4K signals with my X-H2, x-H2s, and X-S10 thru HMDI? There is no longer an option in the menu system anymore to direct 4K signals to HDMI. Am I missing something? That menu no longer includes HDMI to 4K with fuji cameras. Am I missing something?

Overheating light coming on - I just purchased the camera and am setting it up and this overheating light is coming on. It is very strange. I use it for about an hour or so. Is there a fan app I am missing to turn on? Thanks

Right off the shelf I had a similar issue and actually there is a setup in one of the menus that unlocks internal fan to cool it down - set it at least to “auto”, as by default its turned off completely (why?). Now it takes several photos taken rapidly for at least 15minutes for it to reach the yellow (normal temp) warning. Unfortunately I cannot tell you precisely where to find it (which menu section) as I cannot find it now for the second time and it was a random lucky finding :

You could always get the fan. Plenty of professional reviews out now and I haven’t seen anyone complain about overheating or myself in limited use. Only has one SD card so you are rolling the dice with weddings.

I notice when recording in 6.2K, I can go the full 45 minutes. When recording normal 4K or 1080p I actually get a few minutes less recording time. All done in 10 bit 4.2.2. This can’t be right. Anyone else experiencing those odd recording limits?

The lack of option to assign ISO to either the front or rear dial is probably a deal breaker for me. Having to scroll through a menu is slow, annoying and not exactly run and gun.
