I've been watching your videos for like a week now and you have got me the bug to make some model. I used to put a lot of models together in the mid 70's when i was a kid. So I've went out and got me a new airbrush,compressor and all the things i need to get back into model building. do you build any other models like tanks, motorcycles... do you buy your model online or a local hobby store. great work you do on the models.

Can I ask what nozzle size you use? I read that the zero paints are mixed ready for nozzles 0.3 and up. My H&S ultra a/b has a 0.2 nozzle, do you think I could still use this size nozzle or would I be better buying a 0.4 nozzle and needle? Thanks in advance.

Hi Tom, another excellent option, and related with painting a model I have a doubt. A paint booth, remove extra paint sprayed around, but also dust that may fly and stick to the model, am I right? Just start assemble one in MDF my last models after airbrush painting end up with strange texture all around. Thanks

@@TheScalemodelingChannel Hi again, so after apply primer from Vallejo I used 1500 grid sand paper to remove irregular surface, I think is called "orange peel". Than I finish the 3 coats of Vallejo, white gloss paint and that "orange peel" was back. I try to ignore that. Mask the model with tamiya tape and start with yellow. After finish I removed the tape and the final result was really awful. I got really thick separation lines between the two colour. It was bad enough... dip into isopropyl alcohol 99%, scrub a little bit and I'm ready for another attempt, but waiting for your opinion. My model is Renault 5 turbo, but I remove original bumper and install resin one " tour de course". Check link below, might be a difficult model to make, require a lot of masking in small places...you tell me your opinion. vallejo is not really the best paint for model cars, you need to aply it very thick inorder for it to cover, thus creating orange peel and thick lines on masked surfaces,

Love your videos! Very helpful but i do have a question: I notice that you sand the body with 600 grit before you apply primer. But what should I do if I work on a body of a big rig and the mold of the body has many molded tiny rivets and details?
