This popular dish can be eaten at breakfast, lunch or dinner whatever your preference. Foul Medammes also known as boiled and mashed broad beans is a simple recipe that will fill you up for a long time. Garnished with salad and cheese will have your dinner guests mouth watering.

I had foul for dinner tonight! I sautéed my onions and tomatoes first and then add the mashed foul and seasonings. It seems to add extra depth to the dish. This dish is so good!

What should we cook on next week show a) Legamad (fried sweet Dumplings, b) Sheria (Fried sweet Vermiceilli, c) Ginger, Cinnamon no bake dessert pie topped with chocolate fudge, or d)Aseeda (maize side). Your probably wondering why C is not South Sudanese but we will be mixing and making worldwide recipes as well :-)

I like the way you cooked the ful. What genuine oil do Sudanese people use for cooking their ful? How do I get it here in USA? I had tested this oil while I was in Sudan it was delicious. I believe it help a lot to bring the real test of the Sudanese ful.

I read a recipe that called for peeling the beans after soaking. Very time consuming! (By The Way, my beans were very large) Was that a waste of my time. Some recipes say the skins get bitter. What are you thoughts? Thanks
